I have had difficulty with my insurance before, and I often have to be reimbursed after the fact once I have called a representative and had to spend time explaining the circumstances.

Most claims are paid through my debit card. However, I have one provider that doesn't accept the debit card, so I need to submit claims for reimbursement from my health care reimbursement account. They are also very quick to process my claims and they provide my reimbursement via direct deposit into my checking account. It is very convenient. Overall, this insurance plan is a high deductible plan, so I don't have co-payments, but pay the bill after visiting a health provider. I have never had an issue with coverage. They also have Health Dollars, so when I work out or follow other healthy practices and log them in on the website, I will be eligible for a reimbursement of up to $500 for the year. This is a terrific incentive to follow a healthy lifestyle.

In general I feel that we pay way too much for very little coverage. Over $700.00 per month premium with an outrageously high deductible.
