They never finished it. I would not use them again. He put the air filter upside down and I made him change it. I called them four times before they came back. They never called me back to come over and fixed it.

I wasn't crazy about them. They will come out even if it is on a weekend. He had a little bit of a character, but he was fine. The price was probably on the higher end but it wasn't sky high. We are going to try to avoid using them.

We like Empire Heating and Air Conditioning very much. We've been using them awhile. They're very honest and very friendly. They always do a good job when they come out. They're also reliable. They're prices are about the same or a little lower than other companies.

Sort of pricy but I have used them in the past. They are very dependable and showed up on time. I'm sure I could have saved some money if I looked elsewhere or purchased a lesser quality unit but I trust them. Very professional and responsive

They are a good group. I have no way of comparing their price. They are very professional. They are also very nice. I have had them for years, I don't always remember them but they remember me.

It was part of a service contract that I signed a year or so ago. They are all right. They are a little expensive on their parts and they sell you a service contract. They are better than the company I had before. So far the service has been good but a part I had to buy was high. They are good; they're okay.

My experience with them was wonderful. They were courteous and on time. They told me what they did and what they charged for. Their price was fair. A friend had actually referred them to me. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

They installed a high efficiency furnace. The experience with them was excellent. The people who came in were really efficient and they cleaned up all their mess when they left. I had a new furnace in hours and they were about $1000 cheaper than another popular company for the same furnace. I am very happy with the job.

We spent approximately $700 on that service, which we thought was way too much. They did a great job and they came within 10 minutes of us calling. We have a relationship with them and they do our heating and air-conditioning. We liked the guys very much, but we were very unhappy with the price. They did not break it down for me and tell me what was included there. We may not use them again for plumbing because their price was exuberant.

It went pretty well but they are kind of expensive. His price is a little high. He came in with a really high price at first, which kind of shocked me. I had switched from another heating company and I thought I knew what the job was going to cost. He was quite a bit over it. He said he could knock that down and sell me a service plan, which I ended up going for because I have had a lot of trouble with this thing. I paid around $750 for the work and the service contract. They got the job done that day. The old company was taking their time so that is part of the reason that I switched. They were quick and professional but I thought it was kind of expensive and I would get a quote ahead of time.

The servicer arrived on time. He was courteous and pleasant. He did the service to the furnace. He asked how old my chimney was and I said it was probably as old as the house which was built in 1964. He said that he had observed some deterioration in the chimney and that I should get it fixed. He said that Empire does this kind of job and that he would have someone from that division call me to arrange for an estimate. I have heard nothing from the company at all. This is the first time I have used this company. I signed a 2-year contract for furnace and A/C maintenance. I am now a little nervous about this company.

The team did a phenomenal job completing the entire job in one day. There were a few gltiches with humidifier - they reused my old one - and it took two trips back to complete. But everyone was very professional and responsive. Mike List was awesome wot work with.

It was a pretty good experience. The guy was pretty informative and I didn't feel pressured to do anything. He told us all about the weatherizing program and ways that we could get rebates for getting a better heater installed. We were satisfied with that. I negotiated the price but the landlord actually paid it. We had a 50-year old heater so we knew it had to be replaced. The quality of service was good. They came the next day. Since we didn’t have any heat in the middle of December, they were actually willing to try and work out something earlier or at least make sure we were well taken care of, so that was real considerate of them. They were on time and came first thing in the morning, which was real good of them. We would definitely use them in the future.

They offer a really good deal if you sign a contract with them and pay up front. We've been using them for so long because they offer such good service and once I realized that I really liked a specific repairman, I started asking for him by name. I've never had bad service and I have no complaints about them. They'll tell me what the problems are and how long I can work with what I have; they work with me and give me options. My husband is very knowledgeable about these things and he has been very satisfied and he agrees with what they tell us.

My furnace stopped working on a Sunday morning. The house was cold. I called the Issac first, they told me it would be 119.95 for the service fee, plus parts, labor and overtime(Sunday). The person on the phone told me if it were $30 work, it would cost $90 on a Sunday(or something like that). So I tried Empire, they told me service fee was $84.95, plus parts and labor, no overtime. So I chose Empire. About 20 mins later, a technician called back, and said he could be at my house in 20 mins. To my surprise, he showed up right about 20 mins later. Ken was able to find out the problem quickly, which was caused by the ignator burning out, and fixed it very quickly. Ken also took time to answer all my questions regarding furnace maintenience. He was very knowledgable and friendly and patient. Overall, It was a pleasant experience as from the time I called Empire, till the time my house was warmed up again, it took less then 2 hours. They definitely saved my day. If I went with Issac, I would probably wait till Monday as the person on the phone suggested, in a round about way. Later I found from a friend, the iganator itself costs about $80 from retail. Empire charged me for $130 with labor included on a weekend. It was a fair price.

Replacing a furnace is not the most fun thing to have to do, but if you do I would recommend using this company. They are very professional. They got the job done quickly and they cleaned up everything when they were finished. I also felt the price was acceptable.

Empire Heating & Air Conditioning comes on a regular spring and fall basis. We bought a three year contract with them that covers the service checks and repairs. They do a very good job and are good to call first and give you a four hour window in which they will arrive. This is very professional and appreciated by us.
