When the 11 year old hot water tank started leaking, puddles on the basement floor it was the original cheap water tank installed by the builder who cut corners on just about everything in my home. Jimmy started his day earlier than usual to accommodate my emergency and replaced the water heater as his first call of that day. No mess for me to clean up. Quality water heater was installed and is still in use. Very satisfied with Jimmy's work and work ethics!
Most recently, I was quite ill with the flu and the original toilet in the main bathroom overflowed. Also, that same toilet had been leaking in the basement for more than two years. After the drains were cleared and cleaned, with the toilet being 22 years old and of poor quality I had it replaced with a current model with brass fittings. Although it was a very messy job, after the work was completed no further clean up on my part was necessary. Crowley Plumbing and Heating in Rochester, NY put true definition the words reliable, honest, quality material. Yes, I have a great comfort level that the next plumbing disaster only requires my one phone call to Crowley Plumbing and all will be taken care of. Cost somewhere around $200 plus.

Most recently I had a problem with a toilet and they serviced it for me. Everytime I have a plumbing problem I call them and they are wonderful. I recommend everyone to them and they are always pleased. James Crowley Plumbing company is a very trustworthy company. When you have a problem and call them, they will return your call and come out to service the problem the same day.

Great! Jimmy knew exactly what to do and got it done. He replaced the valve and then helped diagnose another problem, I appreciated his ability to fit me in with a quick response time. I've used Crowley before and have always been pleased with their work.
Price seemed more than fair to me.

I've used Crowley for a number of jobs over the years. I actually grew up on the same street as the founder of the company, so I guess there is some allegiance, but still, I find they are trust worthy and dependable. Very important to note, that despite being new to Angies's list....I was thrilled to see a vendor I've used in the past, and decided to stay with them when the neeed arose!

The Crowleys came right on time and went right to work. The drain system was Mickey Moused when installed which made getting to the access point a little more difficult...They removed the fittings and snaked the entire line. Informed me that leaves from a downspout had gotten into the drain system and broken down into a beautiful compost that gardeners love but drains? not so much. Took about two hours to complete the job....they were quick and polite and didn't say a word about my messy basement...didn't hit their heads once. I am now once again able to do more than one load of laundry a day. Yeah!! They even sent me a thank you card ...now how nice is that?

They make it quick and easy. They are professional and prices are also reasonable. They are very nice and I would highly recommend them. I plan on using them again soon!

Overall it was fine. As far as the work, it was fine. I thought it was ridiculously overpriced for what they did in the amount of time they were here. They were here for less than an hour. They were professional. That was not a problem.

I use him all them time. I was very satisfied with their services. I can call them up and they know who I am. I can have them come when I'm not there. Their price is good. They have good experience and good pricing. They can't improve anything at all. It's always excellent results from hot water heater to plumbing they are always able to fix it.

Drains in house wouldn't drain. Crowley came right out. snaked drain. took about an hour start to finish. no problems since. would highly recommend.

I was very pleased. They were coutrous and prompt and reasonabled priced. They are also clean and neat.

First of all, the category that I chose "Gas Leak Repair" was the closest I could come to the actual situation. Secondly, I always tell the services that I called that I got their names from Angie's List, so that they know I will be rating their service. Finally, mom has 'occasional' dimentia and I was concerned that if she became confused, she might become fearful. The company was extremely cooperative with scheduling, and understood my concerns. They were on time, and the estimate was true. The service man called me from mom's after the job was done as I had requested, and was so very nice and friendly. I asked him to put mom on the line, and she said that everything was just fine and that he was a nice man. You can imagine the relief that I felt when I heard this, since I was unable to be there myself.

Everything was fine. The guy was prompt. The price was good. He did a really good job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Jim responded quickly to my call & scheduled an appointment for the next day. He called to indicate how long it would be before his arrival. He explained the options clearly and proceeded to accomplish all the required elements. The work is very well done and the areas were clean when he left. I have already recommended this company to friends and was given their name by a previous customer who was very pleased. And today I received a thank you note for doing business with them. An excellent experience from start to finish & with an older home, I'm planning on calling for other projects.

Guy got her about 8:30 am on Thursday 3-4-10. He tried for about a half hour to clear the drain. needed extra help . came back about 10:00 am with another guy and a large machine . took about 1hour to clear blockage. They recomended that i call city water dept to see if thir was a blockage in sewer . City came later in the day left note saying thier was no blockage in sewer.

I am hiring them again for the re-plumbing work because of the very good response that I got from the plumbing work. Everything was best about them and that's why I am going to use their services again.

Charming and personable visit; worked patiently until problem was solved (2 hours+)

About a month ago my upstairs toilet did not seem to flush all the time or it went down slow. Called Crowley Plumbing for my day off from work . Then all of a sudden the toilet seemed to be working, but the wash basin next to my washing machine would not drain. Wednesday July 1, 2009 they came over evaluated the problem and fixed it by using the snake machine.

Moved in to the house with a credit for repairing the broken shower. Picked Crowley off of Angie's list, they had Jimmy come in the same day for an estimate. They made an appointment but had to call and reschedule a day later, they were courteous and apologetic. The repairman, Dale, showed up on time, and took about 2.5 hours to complete the job. He was very conversational and polite. In the course of repair he mentioned a few other things that might need work, but I never felt pressured into additional repairs.

It was great. The entire process took less than a week. They arrived for the look-see the day we called and returned two days later to do the installation. This is a small family-run business, and yes there really is a Mr Crowley. (Actually at least two of them). They were neat and tidy and provided good information on use and care of the installation.

This was not a very big job as it was just something that the inspector had required me to do before selling the house. It was just simple stuff. Crowley did a good job and I have used them before. They have never given me any problems. They got the job done as they were supposed to. I have also recommended them before to others.

The jobs Crowley has done, have gone very well. They have been prompt and responsive. They have experience working in my neighborhood and are familiar with the housing stock and the kinds of problems, that can arise with older houses. They were able to diagnose the leak (which two other plumbers failed to do) and fix it. Although, it could have cost them the job, because of the additional expense, they said they would only use copper piping, because they felt other materials would only give a temporary fix. When the new shower head proved to be too short, they came back and extended it. Overall, they have been honest and reliable and easy to work with.

I liked that Crowleys Plumbing was prompt. Their price beat any price in town. The service guy was very informative. I would recommend them to others.
