Jim showed up when he said he would (in fact he would have been available earlier), examined the rough-in and the toilet, and said he was not sure it would fit because there was actually only 13.5 inches of space. He advised me to go get a 12-inch rough-in toilet and he'd try dry-fitting both to see which worked better. Since I was already going to replace my downstairs toilet and it's a 12-inch, I figured that wouldn't be a problem if it didn't work upstairs. There was no charge for the first visit. He returned with an assistant several days later at the appointed time, tried the larger toilet, and it fit (so now we have the toilet for the downstairs bathroom, although that work has to wait until we replace some tiles).

much more involved than I had hoped, partly because they didn't quite get what I was trying to tell them was wrong. They was also a slight leak in the work they did, which I asked them to come back and fix, which they never did.

It went great. He got there on time and repaired the toilet that was leaking and replaced more seals and tubes then were causing the original problem but were ready to break. He saved us from having a future problem and money by changing these additional items.

It was easy to make an appointment with them and they were flexible when we had to reschedule the appointment due to construction on our street. They showed up when promised and did a good job. They were unable to finish through no fault of their own, as we accidentally did not leave one of the water filter parts for them. We found it later and were able to complete the installation. The only negative was that we were surprised by the cost of the job. However, perhaps we've had inexpensive plumbers in the past and this is the going rate.

All of the work went very well.  I was surprised at how quick they were able to respond since they had one guy who was out sick.  The woman on the phone was very friendly and helpful.

I got them off of Angie's List. They saved me a lot of money from running water. The service was very good. The workers were very nice. They got it completely fixed. The price was a little high.

The business owner James arrived with his plumber John on time. Thereafter John continued the work on his own and was never late. The job had a possible time frame of 4 days as it was an old house, but it only took two days to complete. Everything was checked thoroughly for leaks before John left and any of our concerns addressed there and then. We were told that if anything went wrong they would call back straight away and fix it.  Everything was cleaned up and taken away afterwards. They protected our floors with cloth runners and were careful in their work. They also sent a hand written Thank You card for using their business. We are happy with the quality of work performed and the professionalism and attitude of all concerned. We are happy to recommend Crowley Plumbing to anyone.

Arrived less than 15 minutes after my call. Immediately called in two assistants to expedite the job. Area was quite messy because of leaking water and broken plaster. They thoroughly cleaned the area before leaving. Cost was quite reasonable considering the duration and the fact that there were three workers. I have used this company for plumbing work several times in the past and their work is always first rate.

My washtubs were filling up and overflowing onto the basement floor when doing laundry. Crowley came and snaked out the drain and checked the sump pump which had frozen up (it was over 15 years old and it owed me nothing). The sump pump was replaced in a matter of moments. Two days later noticed the wash tubs again were backing up (not just not draining but filling). Crowley again sent out a man to do another snakeing. All seemed well until I noticed that the water was bubbling up through a drain next to the furnace. Held off doing any more laundry (seemed directly the source). Crowley sent another man who snaked not only to the street but the "downspouts" as well....seems there was a very dirty plastic bag gumming up the works. So far so good.

Jimmy Crowley provided us with great attention and service that finally diagnosed and fixed a sewer line clogged by tree roots after a couple other guys fleeced me for a few hundred dollars with no success. The Crowley subcontractors installed a lot line clean out in the front yard. This forced the county to be responsible for fixing the broken pipe under the street that caused the sewage backups in our basement. Their price was a bit cheaper than other bids. Its an expensive solution, but now we don't have to worry about it again.

The plumber responded to my call quickly on a Saturday morning. He arrived in a timely manner, explained what had happened and what would be needed to fix it--then made the repair.

My initial call to them was for a garbage disposal that was leaking water very badly. While talking to them on the phone I asked what the average life of a sump pump was. When he told me and I described the noise that mine was making, I decided to have that replaced too.
It was great. We had the same technician that we had the last time we had a plumbing problem. The sump pump works great and is much less noisy that the one that he replaced. The same for the garbage disposal that had begun leaking. The new disposal is so quiet that we do not know it is running.
The tech is very courteous and conscientious. He cleaned everything up, so you could not tell that he was there.
We are very happy with their prompt service. I would recommend them to anyone.

They came to the front door and then offered to come in the side door so as not to tramp through the first floor to get to the basement. They unscrewed the cap on the main drain and started right to work. They came to something very tough in a trap under the downspout and could not completely clear it, but got enough out to get water flowing freely again. The two men were here about an hour and after cleaning up I paid the bill promptly. Very nicely done.

In hind sight, I really should have filed a small claim against this company. Original service call was to unclog a toilet and ended up with much greater problems. After borrowing my own tools, I ended up with not only an unusable toilet, but also a kitchen sink, dishwasher and washing machine that did not properly drain. Granted they all tie together, but there was never an issue with the kitchen sink, dishwasher nor the washing machine until they proceeded to attempt a fix. After all was said and broken, they did say sorry but still proceeded to charge me $285. They referred me to another “specialist”, only after persistent calling. This “specialist” charged me $600 just to tell me it was a septic issue and something broke during maintenance that made problems worse. My recommendation is to save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for repairs or buy yourself a decent toilet snake and a plumbing guide when you have a clog instead of calling this company. That way if you break it, you are still ahead $200. Oh and if you do decide to call this company, make sure you have the proper tools, because they only have a toilet plunger and a credit card machine.
