They made the process very simple in a difficult time. Informed us of county assistance program that my MIL may have qualified for and set up all of the meetings and paperwork that needed to take place. Since she did qualify, the out of pocket cost to us only ended up being $300 as the county covered the rest. They were very compassionate, timely and thorough. Took a lot of stress away as many funeral homes charge double or triple what they did.

We had a totally positive experience with the service. I would actually give them an A+. Personnel were all courteous and knowledgeable and all services were performed professionally and on time.

They were incredible professional, sensitive, and polite. They were not overly dramatic. It was very affordable (the best quote I found by a huge margin in the greater Rochester area). They were in general just exactly what we were looking for--their demeanor matched our needs exactly and they were extremely professional and respectful. I would wholeheartedly recommend them if you are looking for cremation services without unnecessary expense.

A friend's mother passed away suddenly, and I helped with the funeral arrangements. Cremation Service of Western New York is one of the least expensive funeral homes for a direct cremation in the Rochester area. The funeral director there handled everything very professionally, and did not put any pressure on the family to purchase items or services they did not need (unlike my other experiences with other funeral homes). They went above the call of duty, for a very reasonable price. The price paid included the fee for the obituary.
