COMPLETE PAINTING

Update: After one winter, this is the deck. Completely peeled, absolutely showing the poor work, and is exactly what the other legit companies scoped and talked me through last year. This is not only terrible work there is no accountability from Clarence, the owner. I can't imagine if he "fixed" this again last year with another layer of stain as he offered which also speaks to his not knowing how stain versus paint works. I encourage anyone to look at new companies who have the knowledge to do good work and the willingness to work with you even when things go very wrong.

I think even "1" is too generous here. Photos included below, the worst experience/staining job. Even after "fixing" bare spots once, Clarence said he wanted to "make this right" and still hasn't. Two additional estimates and the deck needs to be stripped, sanded and restrained to fix this work. I would advise anyone to go somewhere else for painting/staining work.

Clarence carefully evaluated the work needed to restore our beautiful 1938 original door, and the work was completed exactly as he outlined to us. Crew leader Brian was very careful, skilled & thorough, going the extra mile to make certain we were satisfied w the results.

Excellent!! I can't say enough good things about this company! The workers were so friendly, the work was professional, communications were great, and we were very happy with the results. Clarence did a fantastic job of managing everything so well. Would hire them again anytime.

We have contracted for a and quot;second phaseand quot; and are waiting for the start date. There are 1-2 items to be completed from last fall's work.

Removed textured family room ceiling; painted family room; refinished a bedroom ceiling and painted.

Their price was reasonable and they put drop cloths down. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves. I was a little worried about the paint color but they sat down and had me look at it before starting so I was happy with the color. I have no complaints about the job.

This company did a paint job and installed a shower stall for me (if you can say they did the job, it was horrible). They left me with chopped up walls, crooked wall switch plates, a sloppy paint job and when one of the painters cleaned their rollers downstairs, he put a huge dent in my brand new dryer and didn't say anything about it (I told Clarence, the owner, and he never called me back offering to fix or pay for it). Once, I walked in and the tv was on, there were dirty dishes in my sink (someone had lunch watching my tv using my plates and flatware). The workers were highly unprofessional, talking filthy and making derogatory statements about women, including me the client, swearing, smoking, dropping their used cigarette butts on the floor and they left my downstairs a mess that I had to clean up, not to mention the bathroom. They stood around, were late coming to the job and early to leave. The job took way longer than Clarence had said it would. Beware! Beware!

I just stumbled upon Complete Painting's rebuttal to my review. First and foremost, this vendor is a liar.

They did 2 painting jobs for me in my ONE HOUSE. I do not have two houses as he states. In conversation, I mentioned that I wanted to put in a new shower unit and he remarks that they can do this...stupid me, I trusted him. Painters are not necessarily contractors. His guys were terrible. Who uses a knife as a screwdriver? What vendor sits in the customer's home, on their couch, watching TV, using their utensils and plates without asking first. They dropped their cigarette butts on the floor like my home was an ashtray INSIDE and OUTSIDE. They used foul language and don't know the difference between hot and cold as they installed my shower facet backward, oh it leaks too. The owner states he will resolve any issue, but when I called him regarding the dent in my dryer resulting from one of the guys shaking out a roller (yes, not outside, but against my wall and floor, hitting my dryer), he never returned my call. The owner, Clarence, showed up for 5 min and just because he didn't see evidence of my claims, doesn't mean it didn't happen. The bottom line is they are unprofessional and incompetent.

This is the second time we've used this company and highly recommend them. Clarence is the owner, provides free estimates and had a very responsible crew working for him. They are true professionals, always punctual and reliable and do the work right, even if it might take them longer than estimated. Our walls needed much more prep work than anticipated and they do it all very well. They are neat and clean, and if the estimate looks like it will go over, they let you know that as well.
