Mike Gasser gave clear estimate. Gave notice as to when he would be at the site. Called to confirm day before. Appeared on time. Good workmen. Efficient. Great job! I had removed the ancient carpeting myself, pulled the old staples, and moved the bulk of the furniture to other rooms.. Mike and his fellow workman moved the piano and a large China hutch. Cooperative on selection of stains and making in progress alterations based upon what was found. Did not change price. All were courteous. NOTE: Mike's appearance seems a little rough -- sort of like a guy who might be seen on a motorcycle at 3 AM. BUT, the heck with appearance. Mike was very much a professional who took pride in his work! My advice is to apply a stain to the floor, but not too dark. I chose an "early American" type stain. This caused old blemishes to become invisible. Yet, the refinished floor was bright enough to open up the whole living area. I would recommend Mike and his team to anyone.

I would say that even though they were a little hard to get hold of, their job was professional. They also priced the job within the range of others and aside from the professionalism, which was not bad but not the best I have seen, I would give them an A for everything.

I would recommend Central Hardwood Flooring to other people. They were pretty cooperative. We offered them more money to get it done quicker. They seemed very knowledgeable in their work. They prefer to do unfinished and put finish on themselves, but they did as I wanted, and used pre-stained flooring.
