I inherited a house filled with stuff. My family and I tried to clean it out weekend after weekend, but made little progress and felt overwhelmed. My realtor recommended Bruce Davie. He met me at the house the day I called, walked through it all with me, took a deep breath, agreed that it was overwhelming, but cheerfully and confidently told me he could do the job.
We agreed that an estate sale was impractical, so I paid him $1000 to clean out the house, plus he could keep anything that he felt he could resell at his store. He took care of hauling things away, hiring a dumpster, and contacting charities for stuff that was still serviceable but not worth selling. Bruce also coordinated painting and refreshing the existing floors, and installing laminate flooring. He finished on-time and on-budget, left the place cleaner than he found it, and would not let me pay him until I was delighted with the results.
