B & T TREE SVC & SNOWPLOWING

Had these guys come out to give me a quote on cutting down a tree and grinding the stump. They gave me a price and I told them I'd call back next week after two more quotes. I come home after work the next week to find orange spray painted circle around the tree indicating where the roots are to be ground down and an orange line on the tree indicating where it's to be cut down. I also found a B&T card in my screen door. I proceed to immediately call these guys and they say "Yeah....we came out to mark where the work is to take place. You told us last week you'd call - we didn't hear anything so we assumed we're good to go. Are you going with us or another company?" Absolutely irresponsible and unprofessional behavior on the part of these guys to just go in on assumptions, without calling me first or getting anything in writing or asking me with a follow up, and start marking the tree to be cut down.
