AMERICAN CARPETS OF ROCHESTER

We bought carpet from Home Depot who uses this company as their installers. We made an appointment for July 5 and moved the furniture we were supposed to move. At 9:30 they called and said everyone was on vacation. They offered some compensation for re-scheduling. They were supposed to call by 9:30 July 19th and tell us when the installers would come. No call. I called them and was told they would probably be there soon. the installer did show up but didn't seem to know that he was supposed to move furniture. He called his boss and I called Home Depot. Home Depot called American Carpets but they wouldn't send anyone else so my husband and I and the installer moved what they were supposed to move. Home Depot compensated me for that. The installer left out a transition piece. I drew it to the installer's attention but he didn't do anything. I called Home Depot who called American Carpets. When they didn't call back, I called Home Depot again. They called American Carpets but I didn't hear anything from them until I called Home Depot again in 2 days. Then it was installed improperly. Then I had to wait for them to install it correctly. An install that should have been done July 5th wasn't complete until a lot of aggravation and July 28th, Home Depot did give me further consideration for the aggravation.
