Chris was great. He provided me an estimate over the phone after I gave a detailed description of what I wanted done. He showed up on time and sized up the situation before getting to work. He gave us options on placement of the fixtures and switches, and was happy to take suggestions. He was clear about where he was going to be drilling and that some drywall may need to be patched. (As it turns out, no drywall work was needed after the fact, but I was ok either way.)
He measured to insure correct placement of the closet switch and made sure the ceiling fixture was properly centered. Wiring work down in the basement was clean, i.e. not randomly threaded through holes in the rafters. Chris also didn't make a mess of the place, and threw down tarps to capture dust and scraps. When he left we had nothing to clean up after.
He was spot on with his estimate, and that's the price I paid. On top of all of that, he's a friendly guy and a pleasure to deal with.

He has done a lot of electrical work for us over the years. We really like him because he is very dependable and he does excellent work. When we call him, he calls us right back. He comes to our house within two days of calling him and he shows up when he says he's going to show up.

Great guy. Pleasure to work with him. I ended up giving him a $95 tip because I was so appreciative of his honesty and workmanship. I will definitely do work with him again.

He was very good. He was interested in being very precise to where he put the plugs in our house. The price was good and he was very timely. I definitely would use him again in the future.

Chris was prompt to respond to my request for an estimate and quick to get back to me with that estimate, unlike some others I called. When given the job he completed it to my satisfaction in a timely manner using quality materials. He coordinated with RGand E and the code inspestor to get this very large job done. I would hire him again. I think his charge for the job was quite reasonable.

He is great. He took out some unnecessary wiring that had no purpose. I am extremely satisfied with his services. He knows his business. He is an mater electrician who knows old house well. He is personable and punctual. He will call if he is running late. He was here for a little over three hours. The work looks very good. The price that he charged me was less than his estimate.

Very well. He called to verify the appointment, arrived early, brought business cards with him, fixed both light while explaining why they were not working, cleaned up after himself, was polite and businesslike. He got the job done.

I called Chris on a Monday and explained to him what work I needed completed. He was on his way out the door to another job but told me he would try to get to me the same day if not, definitely in 24 hours to do the work. I spoke with his wife who took my information over the phone and again told me that he would try to get over the same day. Around 4:00 that same day Chris called and said he was on his way over! Wow!! Chris immediately worked on my 2 outside lights and fixed them to my complete satisfaction and then went inside and started with the fans. He showed me where the previous installer had used an inappropriate-type box to hold the fan into the ceiling. He then went ahead an installed a metal box (MUCH SAFER) and then installed the new fan. We have three children ages 8, 8, and10. Chris was totally polite to them and answered all there questions and even let them hold some screws or give him some parts when needed. My wife and I could not possibly have been more happy with the work that was completed and we feel we more than received our money's worth. The price was VERY reasonable and he cleaned up the very small area that had debris! We would definitely recommend 409 Electric to ANY friend or relative who might be in need of an electrician and Chris will be the ONLY electrician we will be using for any future electrical work at our home.

409 Electric was the most honest and reliable. They are trustworthy. He knew exactly what he was doing. If you need an electrician, this is the guy. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

I was very satisfied with 409 Electrical. He was very accommodating. I left some of the job up to him to determine, and he did it efficiently and with my cost in mind. He made it work without it exceeding my price range.
