It was a pleasure working with Tom Mulligan, his staff and crew.  They were all very professional, courteous and responsive.  Work was completed in a timely manner in spite of an unexpected downpour.  To my surprise, Tom even changed the roof on my shed to match the house at no additional cost.  I am extremely satisfied with the job and would highly recommend R.W. Mulligan.

They cleaned up at the end of each day. Inspection at the end when I gave the final payment, which was great. The roof was also inspected by GAF, the manufacturer of the shingles, and informed me the work was done great.

The crew showed up on the date and time discussed and immediately went to work. The crew was very friendly and professional. They completed the job in one day and did a great job. The cleanup was meticulous. I did not find one nail or piece of debris on my property. Early on during the removal of the roof they discovered that some of the fascia was rotted and needed to be replaced. We negotiated a very fair price on the spot and they removed the old rotted wood and installed the new fascia ($120 for 3 separate, 8 foot sections and they let us prime and paint the wood before they installed it.) A couple of days after the installation I saw a small piece of shingle sticking up and called and spoke to the owner about it. He said he would send a guy over to take a look at it. The very next day his guy showed up, went up on the roof, took care of the problem and then walked the whole roof checking for any other problems. 
I had gotten quotes from two other roofers and the prices were all within $500-$600 of each other. The difference was R W Mulligan replaced the gutters for that price where the others were charging extra. I could not have been any happier with my experience with R W Mulligan. I got exactly what I wanted, when I wanted it and for a very fair price. You can't ask for any better than that.
I just rejoined Angies List which is why this review is 3 years late! I can report 3 years later that I have not had one problem or leak with this roof or gutters!

RW Mulligan did a fine job and was reliable before and during the project. They were paid in full. A few weeks after the project was completed on my flat roof, I noticed a small pooling of water in the area I was most concerned with my roof. I contacted Thom Mulligan and he asked that I send a photo. I did so, and then I never heard from him again. Every few weeks I called back and spoke with his assistant who promised that he would get back to me. Never heard from him again and I even had talked with him about future projects. Strange...but I can not recommend RW Mulligan because the followup is awful despite what I thought was decent service. My concern is how I deal with warranty issues if the small pooling of water turns into a major problem down the road. My hope is that he reads this and returns my calls. If that happens, I'll consider updating my review...for now, Fail.

Tom Mulligan looked at the existing roofing and problem areas and submitted a bid. Contract was drawn up and signed. Work commenced when scheduled and was completed in 2 days. Large crew of approximately 15 men was used. Thorough clean-up was effected.Highly recommend this company.

The job went better than I thought possible. Thom and his team were professional, courteous, responsive and good problem solvers. I was very concerned about my flat roof and replacement windows and all my fears were for naught. RW Mulligan is 1 of very few examples of a home improvement project that went off without major snafus and I attest it to Thom's thorough approach and effort to communicate any challenges that may come in a project. If I have any further jobs that involve a roof, window, or siding I would certainly work with RW Mulligan.

I got 4 estimates ranging from $7800 to $15000. R.W. Mulligan was the best price of those who offered the Golden Pledge warranty. I dealt with Tom Mulligan directly. He also included new gutters where the other contractors would remove and reinstall the existing gutters, which were in good shape but which were sure to get damaged. On the day of the work, a small army of men and trucks arrived at my house. 12 men worked hard all day to complete the job. When I found some stray nails and debris, the crew made another sweep to make sure that they picked up everything. The new roof looks great.

Mr. Nill arrived on time for the estimate, very knowledgeable and friendly. The crew showed up on time with approx. 10-15 men. They all climbed up and stripped off the old roof. It sounded like there was a dance on my roof. The old roof was removed in no time. A two inch ridge vent system was cut into the length of the house. The old vent system was removed and the holes covered up. The felt and shingles were installed in no time. My chimney was coated with a clear sealer. Very neat and clean from the beginning, very little for them to pick up at the end. The price could not be beat. I have recommended them to family and friends.
