Great service. Fixed the oven problem. Prompt same day service. Ask for Kevin - second time I called Raynor for their services and Kevin came both times. Highly recommend. Surprised there are bad reviews here but I guess people who are very satisfied dont bother to take the time to write reviews. Pricing was very reasonable.

Oh my lord what a terrible experience. These people are truly insane. They have been 8 days delayed with their installation. I called them every day to get an update to be told that they'd call me back to confirm when the new date was. On the last call (frankly very polite for a company that is 8 days late and is not even returning calls), the guy says: OK, we are taking you off our schedule. Truly an insanely bad service, the worst people. Don't get fooled (the receptionist is the only one any nice, but she won't even return your call). I paid for nothing. They belong in foreclosure.

I joined Angie's list just to make sure that NO ONE gets treated like I was. This is the rudest most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. I was hung up on when I dared to ask when I should expect my appliance to be fixed.! Don't use them.

I called on a Wednesday and was given a Saturday appointment. I received a call the morning of the appointment giving me a three hour time frame. Technician showed up within the stated time frame and replaced the belt on the dryer.

No kidding -- I had 2 ice cube makers go bad in 1 month so I was able to compare the service and cost in Queens NY vs Suffolk County NY. This reviews Raynor in Suffolk.
When the repairman arrived I described the problem - the ice cube maker in my Maytag refrigerator was putting water into the ice cube bin forming a sheet of ice. The repairman looked into the freezer drawer, complained that the ice cube maker was too low to the floor so he couldn't examine it, and then called the office. He returned from the call and told me the water pump needed to be replaced and he did that. The result was the new pump put even more water into the ice cube bin with greater force, you can hear it swooshing in the next room, and it forms an even bigger sheet of ice.
I called right away for them to return and they could not come for a week. In fairness I work all week so wanted a Sat appt and he could not accommodate me for 2 weeks. I'd already taken off 1 day for the first appt. Since the repair had made the problem worse I expected them to squeeze me in.
The price was outrageous. (I may be off on the hourly rate since it was 3 months ago but the total cost was well over $300.) $86 for the pump, $75 for the service call and $200 for the 1/2 hour he spent at my home. (I know this is outrageous because I had the ice cube maker replaced in my other refrigerator for $255 including the new GE ice cube maker. See review for Steve's Appliance Repair in Queens.)
The fortunate thing is that I paid with a check instead of cash or a credit card because I had my suspicions about the repairman's competence. I told the office I was stopping payment on the check until the problem was fixed. I haven't heard from them in months.

Technician showed up as expected. Identified the problem. New part needed to be ordered. Part took 6 weeks from manufacturer. They arranged to install new part when it arrived. Problem fixed.
