Did not need work done Absolute Clean staff came to my house by mistake painted my cedar shingles, then realized they were at wrong house and used chemicals and sanding to remove paint damaging shingles. There fix was to power wash even though they had damaged shingles and now they do not want to do anything else. Charles the owner said he wanted to do the right thing but then his partners did not want him to do anymore than power wash even though they mistakenly painted my house when I did not request their services and now they tell me to go to court to get anything from them. I would NEVER USE THIS COMPANY there people made a mistake but then they damaged the shingles trying to take the paint off and are not willing to stand behind what they do.

When the owner, Joel, came to look at the window cleaning
job, he said all the right things about the pride he takes in not only doing
the job well but in going the extra mile to make his customers happy, with
great attention to detail. For instance, he said they would do the rain gutters
for no charge while doing the windows. Wow, great, a reasonable price and the
extra touch!

I told him I had asked around with neighbors and
friends for a window cleaning company but no one had a recommendation &
some said they were looking forward to seeing how it goes for me so I could do
the recommending. If I was satisfied with their work, not only would I be a
repeat customer but there would be more work through us.

After the gutter work was completed the yard was
clean of all debris, as you would expect. Joel had worked outside, an employee
cleaned inside. When they left and I looked around inside however, it was most
upsetting. It was obvious the window above the entry was not even cleaned at
all, the vinyl around the screens was not cleaned.( One window had sticker
residue from where a security company sticker had been and it wasn't cleaned
off the window, which even an amateur wouldn't skip.)

I called the owner to let him know it was not
satisfactory and he came over to look inside himself. He agreed that it was not
done to an acceptable quality and that the employee had forgotten to wash the
window over the door. Joel said he would personally come over and redo what was
not done well & then look over every window just to make sure everything
was done just right.

The morning came and went that he was going to
come to fix the job. But at 5p.m. the
employee that did the poor work originally came to take care of it. I called
Joel, who said one of his employees was hurt that day and that was more
important than getting to my house that day. I would certainly have waited for
another day to accommodate the emergency. He promised to do the job himself,
not to be sending the same employee back alone. When I objected, Joel said
they?ve already done thousands of windows together & the employee
knows how to do it right. Then why is he coming back to fix what was
obviously, even to the boss, not done right in the first place??

The employee cleaned the window over the entry
that he neglected to do the first time. When he was leaving I asked if this was
done now, would I be happy when I looked around the work. He said no - but that
was as much time as he had for that day & Joel would have to finish it. I
asked if he was going to tell his boss that the job was not finished and he
said he would.

I never heard back at all. Whether the employee
told his boss it wasn't completed or not - After there is a problem with a job
being done properly, a responsible business owner would at least call to check
if the customer was now happy with the work.

This is the first time I have ever written a
complaint about work that has been done. So be forewarned, Joel presents
himself as having a fine work ethic but the follow through was totally lacking
here.

Check out a few of the photos I took of the
"completed job" and see clearly why I am not happy with the view
through my windows. They are posted on Facebook ? Mary Van Deusen
