I hired this contractor for two main reasons, one was because he said he would do cement work that was necessary in my case and the other was because I could have done it myself at one third of the cost but I did not want to do any rework as I knew it would be inspected and I do not know the business of codes for plumbing and doing it properly etc. However Mr Conrad installed the line and it failed inspection due to no trap within a specified length of run so he had to install one with a access cleanout pipe which placed it in the edge of the driveway. I express my concern for damage and hoped he would move the pipe farther off the driveway but he did not so I shrugged it off as something I must do down the road. Now a new issue surfaced this winter when the cement walk he poured buckled up and cracked due to improper methods ,by that I mean it did not have a gravel bed or control joint (it is a six foot run) or felt isolation material where it joins other cement structures, so thus it buckled over 2 inches. I sent an email back in March to Mr Conrad asking for a partial refund for doing the rework myself this time and after a few days he sent one back and stated he would visit me on that next weekend but now it has been over a month and he has never contacted me since. So thus I got the worst of both worlds by paying for professioanls higher price and having to do it myself. I now have explained the rating I gave him.
