Description of Work: I use them for mechanical work on the cars. This was for a specialized item that I had installed on the car with software and such.

 + 3 moreTyrolsport is the most reliable and honest auto shop I've ever dealt with, at least since my dad's mechanic back home.Mike, the owner, always tries to find ways to help you save money. For example, he found a used splash guard for my Passat and saved me about $80. When I needed new headlights and wiring (caused by previously bad GEICO insurance fix after an accident), he let me find my own best price for original VW headlights and just did the service of installing them. I've been going to Tyrolsport since 2004 for everything but alignments (they don't do alignments) and have recommended them to several friends who also continue to go there. These guys are car guys who build their own track cars and really know the ins and outs of VW/Audi/Porsche.
Description of Work: Found small mm leak in radiator that allowed compressor fluid to escape. Replaced radiator and flushed freon and replaced. A/C now works just in time for summer!

 + 0 moreGreat overall, from estimate, communication and consulting about options, to doing things right the first time. Only complaint is that their hours of operation are too short, making it difficult to drop off or pick up the car on weekdays.
Description of Work: Tyrolsport has been working on my VW for years. Mike always finds little ways to save me money. For example, he installed a used belly pan instead of ordering a new one. He fixed rusted wiring for my headlights instead of ordering all new headlights. Everything has been top notch and you can tell he and his staff love VW/Audi/Porsche's. Labor rates are on the high end, but it's a small price to pay for peace of mind.
