RICHARD THOMPSON SEWER CLEANER

I live a couple of blocks away from the establishment, so the 2 men arrive on time as promised. As soon as they get there the lead man John, begins to tell me that my drain cap and my trap to the sewer needs to be replaced and begins to get that familiar sound in his voice as if he was looking f or ways to make the job cost more. The men go down stairs and get to work. One guy, John U.(real name) turns around half way through the job and says "you have a lot of roots" the whole job took about 30 minutes and in that 30 minute time span he repeats that phrases at least 10 times. Before the job was started my wife spoke to the owner and got a quote for the job, so I already had the number in mind. It came time to pay and he walks behind his truck which was parked across the street and tries to get the boss to change the price. That doesnt work so he walks arround the front of the house and notices a small water leak in front of my neighbors home and automatically states "you have a leak" The leak is in street 30 feet away from the end of my property. I pay the guy and think this is over. On wednesday I get a visit from DEP, the leave a 3 day notice on my door threatening to cut the water off if a licensed plumber doesnt go out to confirm and repair the leak. I spoke to my neighbor, he never called it in. So I call 311, where the call originated, they tell me that a John U. who lives at my address called it in. Obiviously, I know who called it in. the customer service person said the report was that water was coming out of the house.??? Beware of Plumbers with dollar signs in there voice, beware of this place and their business practices. Now I have to get a plumber to come and tear up the street(not the sidewalk) in front of my neighbors home just to prove the leak is not mine.
