B & G FLOORING

I will detail all the unequivocal facts. Any slight variation from the facts that I present is pure fabrication. In providing the facts, you can make your own determination of what occurred on that day. FACTS: 1-Approximately 30 minutes prior to the arrival of two representatives from B&G flooring, I questioned myself whether to move the ring and unfortunately I did not. 2-My son and I ran two errands during the time that the two representatives were performing the work in my home. One was to Trader Joe's and the other was to buy the employees lunch. For one of the errands, I gave them a very specific time that I will be returning home. I did appologize to the employees that it was later in the day and I didn't feed them yet. 3-Upon returning home from one of the errands, I noticed employee A cleaning something at the kitchen sink. 4-The employee's from B&G flooring left my home at precisely 2:02pm with the intention of returning the next day to complete the work. 5-At precisely 2:12pm, I noticed that my wife's engagement ring was missing. I contacted the owner (Nixon) immediately and told him what happened. Nixon informed me that he was unable to reach them for approximately 25 minutes. He finally reached them and they returned to my home approximately 45 minutes later. Representatives from the Nassau County police department were already on the scene. 6-One of the offficers informed me that he questioned employee A about going anywhere after he left my home. Employee A said he did not go anywhere. The officer informed me that he had an ice cold slurpee from 7-eleven sitting in his truck. 7-The same officer checked the wallet of employee A. He had $1400 sequentially and a couple of small denomination bills seperately. I have rhetorically questioned numerous people that make a nice livining about going to work on Monday morning with excess of $1400. They all basically laughed at that notion. 8-Employee A and Employee B completely denied any inviolvement in the disappearance of the ring. Although there was no witness to the ring disappearnace, the lead detective stood in my kitchen and stated to me, "I know one of them took/stole the ring" His partner was also present during this statement. 9-Although 2/3 of the work was completed, at no point did Nixon EVER ask for monetary compensation for the work completed. 10-Since there were no actual witnesses, we were unable to sucessfully litigate criminally or civilly. Summary-My biggest issue with Nixon was that he showed zero responsibility for the disappearance of the ring. If employee's come into my home, I would expect the owner to show a certain degree of responsibility and I am sure most of you would feel the same. In my opinion this was not the crime of the century, regardless if there was an actual witness to the dsappeaance of my wife's ring.
