Fast service, good price, beautiful door and great customer service!

Over the July 4th weekend our business was vandalized. The glass to our door was smashed. As it was a holiday weekend no one wanted to come unless I was willing to pay over $1000.00 and that was just for boarding up the door.  Action Glass was one of the numbers I called and I spoke with Ken. He couldn't help us right away but he was the only one who seemed to want our business. On Monday we gave them a call and were told some one would come. We really wanted to have the glass repaired right away and hoped it would be done that day.  Unfortunately they were very busy and not able to come that day and we were told they would come first thing the next day. Well that didn't happen until late afternoon as the glass for our door was put on the wrong truck. But once the installers finally came the job was done fairly quickly and they cleaned up and removed any remaining broken glass. We were pleased with the job and glad to have our door repaired. Being a business owner myself I know there are times things don't work out perfectly for a customer, but if in the end the customer is happy that is what counts. Hopefully we will not have a need for their services again, but I would use them again and recommend them to others.

They guy did a really good job. He had some good knowledge and did good work.

had a hard time finding someone to replace the glass because of the odd shape. most places wanted to charge anywhere from $200

and up. Action glass was reasonable and quick. Had the window back to me within a week.

A worker came to measure the area that needed to be replaced. The double window was manufactured to meet the specifications.
It was returned several days later and professionally installed into the casement frame. It would have been installed sooner but the weather was inclement.
A fine, professional, job was performed. The worker cleaned up after he did the job.

I would recommend them. They were reasonable.

The job was to replace a large (4' x 8') mirror that had been broken on a mirrored wall. They came and measured it within a few hours of my phone call and came back the next day with the mirror and installed it. They were obviously very prompt and the customer service was great. They were very professional and cooperative. I had been putting off the repair for a long time because I thought it was going to be very expensive but their price was a real surprise.

They were down to earth and a pleasure to do business with. We called the week before and I was given a price right over the phone! They came out and measured and they said my measurements were off by about 8" (I was trying to eyeball it) but they still stuck with their original price. The time slot was a bit long (three hours) but they stuck to it. They arrived four days later with a custom glass unit which they manufactured in their own factory and popped it in. Took about 30 minutes tops. Everything fit perfectly and you can't tell we ever had a broken window. Price was awesome. I had other companies quote me double and they never even showed up. They were able to preserve the original frame and they didn't give me a song and dance about needing to replace the entire window. They just replaced the insulated glass portion with a new double pane unit that is hermetically sealed in their factory. What else can I say? I am very happy with them.

The technicians had a very difficult time removing the defective half of the glass pane. The window had not been opened in years and paint covered the area between the glass and the frame. They devoted enormous effort and finally managed to take out the old pane and replace it with a new pane. They seemed highly skilled. Initially they had come by to measure the pane and brought back
a replacement. We were highly pleased with their work.

They were able to come right away to give the estimate. They completed the work the following day. They were very good in terms of cleaning up all of the glass. They did a good job. They did it right the first time and the price was reasonable. It was a great price. We would absolutely use them again.

We had some scheduling confusion - i actually took a day off from work for several repairs and was told that they person who did the estimate would also be able to do the repairs on the same day. As it turns out, this could not happen because of the special thin glass needed, though I didn't understand why at the time due to some communication difficulty. We made an appt for him to return on Sat, and he never showed up and didn't call. Apparently the truck had an accident, and I was sitting around waiting all afternoon. I left messages on the 24 hour service line but no one returned my call. However, at that point, i did not want to have to go through the estimate process again, so i called on Monday and rescheduled for the next Satruday. AGAIN, they almost didn't show up - they specifically told me that they would come within a certain time frame and would call beforehand...i was getting nervous as the end of the time frame approached, so I called. Apparently I caught the person (David, as it turned out - not someone I had spoken with and not the person who did the estimate) right before he left for the day. Apparently they thought I would call???

Well, if he hadn't come right over and done a FABULOUS job and shown that he REALLY knew his business, I would not be giving a B rating. David was great!

If they had better communication/organization - just calling to say that there was an accident so i didn't wait around, returning my numerous messages, I would have given an A. Still, I would use them again, but I would BE VERY SPECIFIC about the arrangements and would call to verify the day before and even the day of. Really know their business and were very helpful in fixing a couple of things I didn't even notice were cracked until that day.

Not much to say. I called to ask if they could do it, they said yes, anytime, so I hopped in the car and drove over. We discussed the knob problem (see above) they showed me some options, I chose one, they quoted me a price. Oh, the woman I spoke to at first thought they might be able to replace both mirrors with lighter-weight versions, which would have been nice. She went to check and found they couldn't do lighter versions that would fit into the slots in our cabinet. But I appreciated her coming up with the idea and pursuing it.

I'm not sure about the price, can't actually remember, but I'm certain it was no more than $40--may have been even less. Very reasonable. I left the mirror, came back a few hours later and got the old mirror back and the new matching one. Price was exactly as quoted.

Courteous response when making the initial inquiry call. Technicians came when they said they would come to measure my furniture and gave me a price quote on the spot. They were very careful with my personal items such as lamps when they had to move them. They created a pattern of my end tables which have curved tops. My order was ready within a few days and installation was very professional and they guys made sure everything was perfect before they left. I was very impressed and will use them again when I need mirrors cut for door panels.

Everyone was polite and professional, from the person on the phone to the guys that measured and performed the installation. Someone came to measure the day after I called. The glass was installed shortly after that. The crew was respectful of my time and space. They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves and the new window looks great.

They offered to send someone that afternoon, though I opted for the next morning instead. The guy measured and provided an estimate. About a week later, he returned to install the new piece of tempered, beveled glass. All went well. It's possible he might have done more carpentry than he did; my contractor supervised the work and kept the carpentry portion to himself because of other work he's doing on the door.

A rock was thrown through a living room picture window leaving a baseball sized hole. I called Action Glass on a Saturday, they came out on Monday to measure the window and returned on time on Tuesday to replace the broken window. They were professional and skilled. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

Everyone from the woman who took my order to the guys who delivered the glass tabletop were professional and polite. The glass-top looks wonderful on my table. I can't really say how competitive the price is as I didn't do much comparison shopping -- but I don't think I overpaid. I would definitely recommend them.

I have used them a couple of times before. I had an interior door that had a large pane break. I needed them to come out and measure for a replacement piece. He works with all kinds of glass; automotive, mirrors, that sort of thing.
