This was the worst contractor we have ever had the misfortune of hiring! We paid top $ for an incompetent job. He has inexperienced college aged kids do the majority of the work. He is rarely on-site. We had to fire him mid-job & hire another contractor to remove the doors & windowsills his crew installed as the doors were not properly installed - they did not close properly because they were not plumb & the windowsills were not level. He also put in the doors before the new laminate floor was installed per his recommendation & the door trims were installed at varying heights and about 1" too high. They had to be removed, retrimmed, & rehung. He did not even use appropriate wood for the windowsills - he used stair bullnose which is not meant for windowsills - this wood is not meant to float. Even the exterior hardi-board ending up not being attached to the wall straight. Our contract noted he was to apply 2 coats of paint to our garage ceiling – his crew only went to apply 1 coat. His staff also showed up a few hours later than he said they would arrive on several occasions. Hiring him was a huge nightmare!

They knocked down my brick steps and replaced them with a porch and steps. The design was worked out, measured and done perfectly and it is exactly what I wanted. It is my favorite spot in the house. Next they opened an exterior wall in my living room and insulated it. Then painted the whole room. They also put up new ceiling molding and placed molding in a box shape on the ceiling. The paint inside the box matches the walls, and they installed a fan in that box. The effect is wonderful, making the ceiling look 3-dimensional. In order to do this work, they had to move all my furniture, which they did with care. They also cleaned up each day, and at the end of the job, it was spotless. I would recommend this company to anyone and I have to many friends. They have used this company to redo a kitchen, reside a house, install windows and paint. Everyone I know who has used Land M is satisfied and continues to use their services.

Larry and his team came in, cleaned, and prepared all the cabinets for the "spraying process". They removed all the hardware, and caulked all the cabinet lines. They then sprayed a primer and two coats to give them a like-new look, without losing the OAK grain detail. They added back new hardware, aligning the cabinets and re-fitting the holes as necessary.

It is like a new kitchen, at a fraction of cost.

Larry is professional, pays attention to details, thorough and communicates his process along the way. We plan to use them again, and highly recommend giving them a call for any type of job. Especially painting cabinets. Feel free to email me for pics if you are interested.
