Was told $118 for job. My husband was clearing a couple of pieces of wood from site. Technician moved in and said he would do and charged $275, without telling us. Called company. They basically said we had to deal with the technician. If using do not let them do anything without asking cost. Poor customer service. Wouldn’t trust again.

Do not use this scam company !! They charged me $1000 for a high power line cleaning hose (scam) gave me a 30 day guarantee and because it didn’t work a week later came back and did it again but still didn’t fix it. Now they won’t come back again because they said they only come once in the 30 days whether they fixed it or not ? What kind of business does that ?? Completely unacceptable and unethical !! Would never recommend to anyone unless you want to be ripped off n lied to .. shame on them taking advantage of a handicapped person :( ill see them in court ..

Approximately 12:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day, I discovered my kitchen sink was causing my basement utility sink to clog, resulting in my laundry room flooding. This was the last thing I needed as my guests were due to arrive in a few hours. I called my plumber who referred me to $49.95. Not only were they working, they didn't charge extra for the holiday. I was told that someone would arrive between 2-3 hours and the gentleman arrived in about an hour. He was very professional, explaining the steps along the way. I was very happy with their service and would definitely hire them again - although I hope I never need them.

The sink in the laundry room was slow to drain.  I scheduled a service call with this company and the technician came the next day.  He snaked the drain and the water went down.  He ran the water for a few seconds and it appeared to be fixed.  Upon doing a load of laundry, the sink began to drain slowly.  I called them immediately and the tech returned & snaked the line again.  When the problem reoccurred he said it was probably a problem with the sewer line or drywell and proceeded to leave.  He made no attempt to check the sewer line and told me there was nothing he can do.  It was obvious to me that this guy didn't know what he was doing.  I called the company and requested service from a different technician.  After all, they offer a 30 day guarantee and supposedly fixes drains and sewers.  The company sends the same guy back to my house.  I think his name was Ruben.  He was rude, unprofessional and insisted it was a problem with my drywell and was debating if he should charge me a service charge for coming out.  This guy is a joke.  My home doesn't even have a drywell so this definitely proves how incompetent this guy is and he certainly wasn't getting another penny from me.  I called his supervisor who informed me that he would send someone else.  Then he asked me if I knew where the sewer line was in my home.  This company is a joke.  No one ever came and if they did, I would not let them in.  Incompetent! 

He snaked the drain twice & then used an air gun to try to clear it.,which didn't do anything.  He then took apart the pipes under the sink.  Nothing worked.  When he tried to put the pipes together again one cracked.  He didn't have a replacement.  He charged me $25. for his efforts. I had to call a plumber the next day to install new pipes under the sink.

the guy got to work right away with no hesitation. found the problem and cleaned the sewer pipe. quickly. problem solved would recommend. and can't beat the prices

We needed our sewer main snaked out. We shopped around and $125.00 was the cheapest price we could find, until we came across the Original $49.95 Any Sewer Or Drain! We called on a Saturday afternoon and were told they would come within the hour! 20min later Ronan and Eugene arrived at our home ready to work! The inquired about our problem, checked out the situation and then suggested the best solution to our problem. They were knowledgeable, fast and efficient. They worked very cleanly and were done in no time at all. The $49.95 price tag is for one way snaking and the proper way is two way snaking, which is what we decided on so the price doubled. However, they offer a 10% discount to Angie's list members, so the total was still cheaper than their competitor's price. We are so happy we chose "The Original $49.95" sewer guys, they made a very unpleasant job a breeze! Thanks Guys!

Nate came on time. Nate was a human being. Nate listened to my stories. He explained every detail concerning cause and future prevention. Cleared drains, and cleaned up reasonably well.

Ronan did a great job unclogging my drain. He even put things back in place when he was done. He's a really capable, nice guy. It was a pleasure to have him in my home.

The sewer line was cleaned as expected. The work was professional and the plumbers were courteous. The price was definitely right. I've used this company many times over the years and the work has generally been very good.

They were here in an hour after I called. Snaked out the drain in about 15 Minutes. Cleaned up well' Were Quite polite.
Explained to us what the problem was. We had been using a homemade soap bought at a fair and it was not dissolving

I contacted this company and made an appointment. They said that the technician would be there between 4-7. I was called at approximately 4 and told that I was next in line to be serviced. At 6:53 I called the company and asked if anyone was coming. I was told that the technician was still on a job several miles away. I asked why I was not contacted and told that the serviceman would be late, and I did not get an answer.
I called back at 7:30 and asked if they could give me a time when the person was coming. The company said they would call back- and didn't. The technician showed up at about 7:50 (right before I called to cancel). I told him that I was about to cancel because he was so late, and his response was 'that's the office's fault and has nothing to do with me.and quot;
Clearly this company knows NOTHING about customer service. The young man worked quickly and the price was good, but I will NOT be using them again.

After receiving a ridiculous price from Roto Rooter, I called this company after reading positive reviews on Angie's List. They came a bit late, but they did a great job and the price was right! We told a friend and they used them as well and also were very satisfied with their service.

Drain was cleared as requested, but in order to gain access to the pipe, the tech. had to move my bathroom vanity sink. He should've said right up front that he or the co. is not liable for reconnecting a sink improperly, because I had problems immediately after he left. And the company was not willing to make good on correcting his mistake. Caveat to anyone who uses them, be sure the only thing they go to is the drain that needs unclogging, and do not involve any other fixtures. Also, this is my second experience w/them in recent months, and the $49.95 price is not a true price as stated in my previous review.

The tech came and did what needed to be done, but ... I called the previous night and they could not accommodate me w/an appt, so they sent the service person this evening. The office called me when he was here, so I let them know which apt. bell to ring. When he didn't ring after about 5 minutes I went out looking for him, and would never know that he worked for a service company, since he was in his own knockaround clothes, not a uniform that would identify him w/4995 Sewer/Drain. His whole demeanor was less than professional. He called me and quot;chiefand quot; and and quot;bossand quot; instead of Mr. or sir, and when done he let the dirty machine lean against my painted wall outside the bathroom. This is why the near failing grade for professionalism. He did actually wipe up after himself, so maybe a half a grade up for that.
They also do a poor job in disclosing what the actual price is - it's not 49.95, it's $49.95 plus a fuel charge of $5, plus a charge if you want to use credit. I paid cash, plus had a 10% discount coupon, so my total was $53 and some change. I gave the guy $54 and he said he didn't have change, so I made sure to find the change to make it even. Even if it was only a few cents he didn't deserve to have it.
And I was on the fence on whether I would call again - I would take my chances and hope for a different service person.

They are punctual and do exactly what they advertise. I generally call them in once a year (my daughter has long hair, and an apparent aversion to cleaning drains). HOWEVER, keep in mind that the price is indeed PER DRAIN. There is no discount for multiple drains per address. Just keep that in mind when you book them.

I called them again to pump out the sewer. They were punctual, professional and reasonable. I have no hesitation in referring them to anyone and will definitely use them again in the near future.

He took a long time to clear the clog and he charged us only $49.95. Just one guy came out and he had to snake it down the drain and it took him a long time He did not speak much English but he was very polite. He cleaned up very well. It was a harder clog than he thought. If it was some other plumber they would have charged nearly $200 or more. Another plumber would have had more people coming and it would not have taken this much time. But for us it was definitely worth it as we were home while he was doing his work. He arrived at around 7.30, 8O’clock and was here till 10.30. As for professionalism he asked for a towel. He ended up using one of our towels. That seemed a little strange that he did not have enough of that stuff. I would use this company in the future.

It's a good company to work with. Scheduled appointment right away and also send me a message the day before they arrived. Solved the problem within 1 hour and so far so good. I'll use them again if needed.
