DAVID & NURIEL CLOCK REPAIR

The clock was not working when purchased for $200. After a $440 repair bill, it kept accurate time for 5 months but now is erratic. After contacting the company, I was given a lesson over the phone as to how to adjust the pendulum every 24 hours, something I had been doing for nearly 40 years with a regulator clock I owned. If the clock in question continues to run erratically, I will try to take advantage of the one year warranty that was part of the original repair agreement. At this time, I am not convinced that this clock is worth the $640 I have put into it.

The clock is fully restored and keeping perfect time.

David and his father came to our home took a good look at our clock and gave us estimate to fix it. They also took the time out to explain to me and my husband how a Grandfather Clock works and the things that may happen to the clock after a long period of time not being serviced. The estimate they gave us was reasonable considering all they had to do to get the clock back to work and chime every 15 minutes and every hour. David took the inside of the clock apart and took it with him to his shop for repair and promised to bring the parts back in 2 weeks. David did come back to our home as promised and installed all the parts that belong in the clock and it started to chime again and work. I can't tell you what a wonderful feeling it is to have your clock work and hear the beautiful chime. It chimes beautifully! They gave me a warranty with receipt and we are very happy with our service from David and his Dad. These guys are very careful and clock experts. They handled everything gently and were very kind to explain all that goes into a Grandfather Clock. It makes you really appreciate the makings of Grandfather clocks and its history and beauty. We are very happy with the service David and his dad provided. I will defintely be calling them again if I ever need my clock serviced.
