These guys were EXCELLENT.  Francisco, the foreman, was extremely knowledgeable about building science, talked me through various insulation options in a way that really inspired confidence.  They sent a big team of guys (between 4 and 7 on a given day) to do the work, so that it went quickly. The guys who did the work were great: considerate, polite, professional.  Most of all: it was clear that they wanted to do the job RIGHT.  I've had other contractors where I felt that, if I didn't keep an eye out, they would cut corners.  These guys were the opposite: they clearly took pride in their work, and in doing an excellent job.  I couldn't be more happy with the whole experience.  We will use them for any contracting we need done in future -- not just insulation work.  Really highly recommended.

Very well.  they worked very hard, and we have realized significant savings in heating and generally more comfort in the house.

The Malcarne team arrived punctually each day and worked into the evening hours.  The entire project took the team a total of 6  days.  Each day was productive and the team cleaned up after each day's work.  The team communicated what they were doing and what they would be doing.  The team worked tirelessly and efficiently.  

On the final day, Francisco Martinez offered to have workers come during this week to put a lip around our trap door and paint in bright orange for safety which we appreciated.

Malcarne is obviously an excellent contracting firm and I recommend them highly and without reservation.

Excellent installation job.

He was delightful to work with. He was very congenial and conscientious. His workman were the same way he was. Incredible contractor who has ethics. Over 8 years ago Joseph Malcarne did some major renovations for us. Over time, some problems arose and recently Joseph willingly agreed to fix the problems without charge. His team has worked here for a few days and the problems have been fixed. Talk about customer service! Besides doing excellent work, he stands behinds what he does. Honorable man.

This company is the best. Excellent work! Went above and beyond in several of the jobs that were done here. Excellent for greening your home and saving energy. Energy reading was very revealing, implemented the changes and our electric bills have gone down by almost 1/2, and heating and cooling down by at least 1/3. Every worker was polite and never a mess left in the house after the work was done.
