I was extremely comfortable the work was done well and I felt Charlie was extremely honest and fair with me.
grandfather used to use Charlie and his dad for years. Now, everyone I
know uses them. They aren't the cheapest but they do incredible work and
WILL NOT rip you off. They are straight shooters and will tell you
exactly the status and condition of your vehicle and reason for repairs,
what the cause/source of issue was. They will even show you the broken
part(s). These guys are very honest and do a great job. My Ford truck
has over 185K miles on it and is still running great, all because of the
work these guys do. They use the best parts and fluids (again, not the
cheapest but they are the best). I highly recommend DiLorenzo's.
Where they went above and beyond is my reason for writing this review. Charlie himself took my car home with him and drove it around that evening to reset the code cycle so the car would pass inspection the next day and I could come pick up my car. Another garage, and especially a dealership, would have made me do all that driving myself and then have me bring it back just so they could put the inspection sticker on it. Charlie saved me a lot of time and hassle. Also, a piece of interior molding around the driver's side door had recently become loose and was hanging down. I hadn't had a chance to glue it back in place myself but planned to do so after repairs were complete. To my very happy surprise, they had fixed it for me without my even having had to ask and didn't charge me a dime for it. Now that is customer service.
