Started off well, 1st month was OK, but things started to slow down after that. Excuses came in thick and fast, along with requests for more money to buy materials. Materials never appeared, and work stopped progressing. Eventually I lost patience after 4 months of excuses and lies. The job was less than half finished, although I had paid him over 70% of the contract money. He had some kid in there who painted all over my light switches and got paint on ceilings and baseboards, he also never prepped any of the surfaces so I have to repaint and replace light switches, repaint ceilings and prep surfaces properly, so he actually did more harm than good. He is an unreliable incompetent liar.
