Five different companies came and told me they could not repair and that I needed brand new windows. So you can imagine how surprised and pleased I was when Aaron arrived at the estimate and told me it was something he definitely could repair. Whenever I called the office everyone was courteous and helpful. Parts were ordered, work was done in less than an hour on job day. Aaron’s skill and willingness to do work that many other companies are probably not willing to do because of low profitability turned me into a happy and grateful customer. Thank you for focusing on the customer’s needs and for offering such hard to find repair skills.

Hobson Window did a great job replacing all of our original windows in our 1930s house! The owner, Steve, was incredibly responsive to my many questions. The installation team was quick, clean, and professional! And most importantly, the windows (Majesty by Ideal) look great! I decided on several upgrades for the windows (simulated divided light grilles, upgraded hardware) so that they fit my older home and Steve made sure I got what I wanted. I felt that the price was very fair and would hire them again.

Once the weather cooperated the door was installed in one day BUT some of the workmanship was poor. One of the framing boards was cut crooked. Two smaller pieces were just put in place, never nailed or glued down. One board was never installed and it looks unfinished. I spoke with Kyle and he had a guy come out and fix what was wrong.The door it self was installed properly and seems to work well.

I placed a call to Hobson in July, 2017, and on July 31 a technician came out to the house to look over what needed to be done. On August 14 I went in to the showroom and wrote a check for $250, approximately half of the total cost of $527.13, which seemed a bit high. Subsequently, after numerous phone calls, a very competent technician came out on October 16 and replaced the thermopane, making it look easy (!), but he said the screens ordered were the wrong model, so he took them back. More phone calls later, the same technician finally came out on December 29 and replaced the three screens. On January 5 I received a fairly incomprehensible invoice (No. 2607G) for the balance owed. The amount looked correct, but you couldn't tell what it was for. My sense was that the technicians were very competent, but that the front office was chaotic, losing orders and not returning phone calls. This was a fairly straightforward small job involving about an hour of labor, and should not have taken nearly six months to complete.

I was impressed with their work. They were very professional and careful about the demolition of the old windows. There was no debris in the house or outside. They installed new aluminum wrap on the outside of the windows. Everything turned very well.

Very professional from start to finish. Arrived on time and completed the job quickly and with minimum disruption. Knowledgeable workers did a great job.

Mike and Aaron were careful, knowledgeable and friendly. They did a wonderful job and were fastidious about cleaning up afterwards.

Of the three, only Hobson recommended replacing the window pane instead of the entire window, at substantially lower cost than we had initially anticipated. They also replaced the adjacent window pane at nominal cost while there, recognizing the potential risk that that seal, too, would likely go bad in the near future. They came when planned, performed exemplary work, and also applied a sun reflection film to the top of the window to reduce heat transfer to the interior. We had a minor issue with the glazing on the top pane in the garden window after the reflection film was applied - and the Hobson crew promptly returned to reglaze the window without incident. Throughout the process, communications were informative and timely, and we were thoroughly satisfied. If an award for outstanding work could be given to a service provider recognizing quality in absolutely all aspects of the project work, I'd give it to Hobson Window in a heart beat. Wonderful!

This company and its crew were nothing short of outstanding.  Steve, the owner handled the estimate process and couldn't have been more responsive and professional.  Once the contract was signed Hobson was accommodating in terms of scheduling and met every expectation relative to checking in, starting time, cleaning up and completion of the work.  The crew and its foreman were extremely polite, responsive to questions and small issues that arose during the process.

I interviewed five contractors.  Hobson's price quote was not the highest or the lowest.  From the perspective of the actual installation, etc. Hobson was worth every penny.  If you are looking at replacement windows you'll know that only time will tell if the windows themselves will hold up against the local weather.  For now, the double hung windows function great and are easy to clean. 

I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate using them again for other work (e.g. front door replacement).

Aaron arrived promptly for both the estimate and to do the repairs. He was very professional, the window looks brand new. I will hire them again in the future.

Within 10 minutes of Todd and his crew showing up I was impressed.  Even given it was one of the coldest days of the winter they showed up promptly and each started their task.  Trucks were emptied and tools were laid out and ready in minutes. To maintain the the outside look of the house the siding had to be removed before install.  The single window was at ground level and replaced in no time.  Siding back on and interior finishing would complete the first window.  The 2 double windows were on the 2nd floor and a bit more challenging especially with the wind and cold.  Todd and crew worked efficiently and non-stop till everything was done.  They are very careful and moved and/or covered furniture, pictures, etc as they worked.  Upon completion they picked up all scraps and you wouldn't even know they had been there.  The windows look great and I'd like to thank Todd and his crew again for their craftsmanship!

Turned it out the refrigerator was broken and they didn't charge me for the part they had ordered to fix the problem. They were incredibly honest and nice, I currently have them working an a different project for me.

I had some difficult Patio doors that needed screens. I called Hobsons
and they came out right away, gave me an estimate for the work within a
week and, after I approved the estimate, they came and installed two
screen doors onto patio doors that several contractors told me could not
have screen doors. The doors are a perfect fit and we enjoyed them all
summer.
Hobsons was professional, prompt and reasonable. I am considering using them this year to replace my front door.
