Ram Air Heating & Air Conditioning

I called Ram Air to install a new central air conditioning unit in my modular home. After installation there was a strong odor of burning rubber which made me sick. I called the owner and he came out and did something and said it was fixed. It was not, as soon as the unit came on the same odor was still there. He said it would stop after the unit was run for awhile. It has not stopped and I cannot run the unit due to the strong noxious odor. I called back and he said there was nothing he could and to stop calling him and hung up. I called the manufacture, Carrier and they gave me the name of qualified installer in the area. He said the odor was coming from burning rubber on the coil as the installer had used to much heat when connecting the lines. I called the coil manufacture and they said the same thing. The manufacture said the coil was under a parts warranty but that did not include labor which would be very expensive. I emailed Ram Air, as he would not answer my phone calls and advised him of the conversations I had and he never answered me. I am going to have to hire another installer to correct his mistakes at considerable cost to me. In the meantime I have no A/C. I can not use it due to the strong odor which is making me sick.

We own a B&B and our boiler went out affecting all guest rooms (no hot water!!). It was a Sunday, and so we called Ram on an emergency basis. We had already tried a different company (the one with the red trucks) and they charged an arm and a leg just to come out, and couldn't fix the problem.
Ram said right over the phone that if they couldn't fix it, there was no charge. They arrived very quickly, within an hour, had the part they needed on the truck, and fixed the problem before our guests even realized there was no hot water. They saved us from having to comp all of those rooms, and they saved us a tremendous amount of stress.
The price was very fair. They did not rake us over the coals even though they could have since it was a Sunday and we were pretty desperate.
I would highly recommend Ram, we're grateful that they helped us so quickly. The boiler is running great now, and we will definitely have Ram on our speed dial for any other emergencies. Ram, if you're reading this, THANK YOU!!

This company came right out without hitting me for a charge up front and fixed it within an hour.  It did not need recharging, It needed something electrical and they cleaned the heat pump of all my pine needles.  Awesome service and pricing.   Thank You

As I stated the call was made on Thanksgiving night at  7:30 and I told him don't bother tonight, we'll get by. He was here the next morning at 9(working me into his schedule). We had to get a total new faucet and spray installed. He went to Lowe's for us, picked out exactly what we wanted(he called to make sure I wanted the black one, I did) and was here at 2, installed it and was done by 2:45. Again, we were extremely pleased with the service and his prices are very fair.
