If you have any heating issues don't call Billington Plumbing and Heating, Inc. !! Had them come out on a service call yesterday and about 2 a.m. l had no heat and furnace was making the same noise again. Called them today and THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER SERVICE CALL. NO REFUND ISSUED EITHER. Great way to do business. Then the office woman called me back and asked me what l was going to do about my furnace. Me: gee come back out and l will pay you to come back out again to "fix" it again. Great way to do business.Not Not to mention after l posted a negative review on FB does the Secretary call and while snickering off and on suggest a "meeting of the minds". Nothing resolved. They still think they should not have to send someone back out to fix what was supposed to be fixed yesterday.

They were able to fit us in the next day. Bill came, was so professional and honest. He repaired our toilet. He charges $80 per hour. A competitor I called charges $50 just to come and $75 on top of that. Our only grumble was he was almost an hour late before I called the office to be sure he was coming - they said he got tied up for "a few minutes" but he would be right there. I wish they had called to give us a heads up. Overall, very happy. Would call again.

Removed old corroded Kitchen faucet and installed a new one that we had purchased. They were in and out inside an hour and left the area clean. It was a good experience

Called a week before Bill came and set up an appt. for service. His secretary/receptionist said he'd be to my home between noon and 1 pm. Bill arrived at 12:15. It took him about half an hour to find the water pressure problem and fix it. I was told on the phone that he charges 80 dollars an hour and that I would be charged 80 dollars, even if the job didn't take him an hour to repair. I was charged exactly what I was told up front, which is exactly what I'd expect. I'll use Bill again in the future for sure as he was here when he was supposed to be and he charged me exactly what I was told he would.

Billington was available without a long wait. I actually confused the date I was scheduled for and they were able to come right away. They were polite and performed the work quickly. They did a great job and I thought the price was fair. I have additional work to be done and will definitely call them to do it.

The two technicians arrived on time and were very pleasant. Bonus: They even fixed the handle so the cold water was on the and quot;Cand quot; side, and vise versa with the hot. Of course, now I need to undo 12 years of working an incorrect handle...

Very well; the and quot;techand quot; (owner) diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within 15 minutes. Another heating and cooling company had been here to fix the problem 4 times and it was still not working correctly.

I was in a panic after calling quite a few plumbing and heating companies that morning. It was a holiday weekend and Billington was the only company that could make the service call the same day. They arrived at my home within a few hours of my call to them and had the repair completed within 15 minutes.
My issue took place during the heat wave we were having. Every other company I had called that day told me it would be 24-48 before they could make a service call for my problem. I had shut off the main water supply and would have had no way to use the water, so those answers were unacceptable.
I was very appreciative and relieved that Billington could make it to my home the same day. One of the service men showed me how to turn the water off to the refrigerator so if it happens again, I will know how to contain the problem without cutting off all water in my home. Thank you Billington :-)

I have to admit that my former plumber/electrician was the BEST ON
EARTH so I probably got spoiled! Sadly he died the day before Christmas
(2012). When I called Billington Plumbing (based on Angies List
reviews) I was unsure of what to expect (since I'd been using such a
great guy for so long).
I felt that the woman who answered indicated a reluctance to have them
investigate a plumbing and quot;leakand quot; (might be a waste of their time?)..but
they did come, as promised, and did investigate my tenants leak... which
turned out to be not a big leak...SO having said all that, I will say:
she was probably right that the tenant just splashed too much water
from the shower (but she could not have known that without the plumber
checking it out)... I am a very conscientious homeowner/landlord and I
didn't mind paying for them to and quot;check it outand quot;.
I would hire them back and I felt the man who came did a good diagnosis
of the source of the problem. I remain concerned that the phone answerer
tried to diagnose the problem leak, without having seen it, nor knowing
anything about me. I don't mind paying the and quot;service feeand quot; to have them
come out, but I do mind being written off before having checked out the
problem. I paid the $85 per hour (without complaint). As it turns out,
I feel somehow, like I and quot;inconveniencedand quot; them. Those of us who have no
knowledge about plumbing call plumbing professionals to advise us...We
shouldn't feel like we're a bother.

Called them and they were at the office within 1 hours of receiving the call. They were courteous, quick and gave us a bill that was very fair. Called them two weeks later for another issue and had the same positive experience.

Responded right away, did a great job, very efficient and reasonably priced. Had a number of small plumbing issues from leaking toilet to new faucet to repair a faucet.

They didn't have the parts needed, but quickly went to a local hardware store and picked up the right ones. Installed the new parts quickly.

The service guy was on time and showed my husband everything that he was doing, as well as explained what the noises we were hearing were from. He also let us know the age of our water heater, and what to look for before it becomes a problem.

He and his crew did the job in one day as promised and did work that was efficient, correctly done, and neatly done. He and his wife, who is office manager, did follow-up calls to be sure I was satisfied with the work. Before I had the tankless heater put in, I hired Billington to flush the current heater and he didn't laugh at or scold me as gallon after gallon of rusty water was drained. He patiently gave me instructions for draining the tank on my own and gave me an honest estimate of how long the old heater would last. I use Billington for my annual furnace cleaning and other plumbing jobs, and have been very happy with the work they do.
