Mazen S.

Mazen S. is on the Angi's Handyman services list of contractors. I hired him on my own. He said that he would charge me $35 an hour and after he did a pre job inspection he said that the job should take about 2-3 hours but no more than $150. He said that he would add shelves, and spackle a crumbling wall in a small closet. He did a terrible job with spackling and only nailed the wood back to the wall. I could have done what he did. He also volunteered to shave the door and trim a piece of rug for me at the pre job inspection. When he came out he was annoyed that I mentioned it and that it would be extra! He seemed to forget a few things that we discussed and when he left he charged me $150 even though he only stayed for 3 hours and 5 minutes. He also charged for materials. I paid him $190. Not only did I overpay him but he did less when he was supposed to. After he left I texted him and told him that I was disappointed,. He called me a f***b***, an as**h****and a piece of s*****. This guy is clearly unstable. I might report him to the police. Beware. Its not safe to let him in your house. If you do, don't hire him on your own, stick to the handyman service guarantee!!!!
