Serivce was ok once they showed up. Took multiple calls, broken appointments and complaints to get them to show up last year around May. After they came and did the work (unannounced and on a random day) I never heard back from them. It took me calling them this year to remind them that I owed them for last years service. I requested work again this year and was stiffed on the first appointment with no call or explanation. After calling again I told them to just send me the bill for the money I owed them from last year but to forget coming back since they couldnt keep an appointment to keep their life. Classic case of a busy company biting off way more than they can chew to the detriment of the customer service. Completely unorganized group who did very basic service after being hounded to come work. EVEN NEEDED TO BE HOUNDED TO GET PAID! Should have kept my money.

I called on Friday, July 17, 2015 for an appointment on Saturday, July 18, 2015 for a quote to mow my lawn. I left my address on phone number and the appointment was supposed to be between 12PM-5PM. However, Joe called around 2PM to say he was in a different part of Queens, in Flushing instead of Maspeth, because the assistant wrote down the wrong location. He said he would stop by later in the day. Unfortunately, nobody showed up. I called back the cell phone number and the office number and left a voicemail. Nobody picked up or called me back. This wasted my entire Saturday. And I ended up mowing my own lawn on Sunday in the hot weather of 90 degrees. If they did not want any new business, they should have said so instead of wasting my time. This was absolutely unprofessional.

I had asked around and was given the name of 2 or 3 companies in the area for lawn and yard work.  I called JC landscaping and left a voicemail with my information for to get an estimate on the work I wanted done.  I did not here back from them.  I called agaion and left another voicemail asking to get an estimate for the work.  I recd a call later while at work.  I agave him all my information and he stated would be by on thursday morning of that week to look over my yard and give me an estimate - we scheduled the time and said ok when the phine disconnected.  I retried calling but the phone was busy.  That Thursday i woke early and waited for them - no one showed and no one called.

I was contacted by JC Landcsaping and Design and had informed him that we were still under construction. He came over to see the property and the layout of the beds. He then said to call him when construction was completed. I did so. I thought the appointment was for May 21 at 6PM so I waited and he was a no show. I called and left a message and he said the appointment was for May 28 at 4PM (Memorial Day weekend?) Why would I make an appointment for Memorial Day weekend? I said OK my mistake. So I made sure that I was home from 3:30 on and once again - he did not show. I did not call him back because I am so disgusted with the 3 different landscapers that I have made contact with so far and their not following up, showing up for appointments etc. I guess my "job" of the front planter box/lawn and the back yard planter box (2x16) is just big enough for them to bother with. Maybe I'll just have to go to a nursery like Garden World or Kiel Brothers or Hicks and talk to their guys and see what they can advise me to do about my beds.

I have had him for a few years.  He makes things good if they make something that isn’t quite right.  He cares about the customer and makes them happy.  They mow, edge and clean the property thoroughly.  They weed it and pick up leaves.  The owner always calls back if you call back.  He is very nice and personable.
