CENTRAL AUTO REPAIR

Brian walks on water as far as I'm concerned. I've been using him for years but didn't know he was on Angie's List until a couple of days ago.
I have never met a more knowledgeable, honest and communicative mechanic in the 40 years I have been driving.
I brought the car in primarily for an oil change and to fix my weakening AC system. I also had a clanging sound when I went over bumps that concerned me. As he always does, Brian called me to say he identified the probable source of the clanging sound, and how much it would cost to fix it. In addition, when a car is taken in he sees if anything else needs to be done; in this case it was the need for new windshield wipers. I told him to proceed. The car was repaired that day.
Brian is not cheap but he is fair and high quality. Since I started using him several years ago my cars have run more smoothly than in the past.

As always this was a very good experience at Central Auto. They have been servicing my families cars for years and have always done great work, with thorough explanations, and provided the damaged parts without request.
They are extremely informative and will squeeze in a job in a rush. They do not throw in extra needs and will put off repairs if requested.
They are not cheap. this is quality work and costs as much and I have occasionally snuck behind their backs to use a coupon at a chain--but this did come back to haunt me significantly once when an inspection nearly killed my engine... and this is why I return to Central again and again.

I could not have found a more perfect service provider than this referral. The technician, Bryan, was courteous, friendly and clearly was an expert in his performance. I had immediate service and could view all he was doing. He explained what he was doing and gave further recommendations without trying to sell any of his own products. In fact he commended me on the on-line tires I bought and said I should go back on line to buy the same for the rest of the car. He did not try to sell me his own to make a sale. aware of the customer's financial concerns. I will go back to this service provider for any auto service I need in the future without question. And his cost was the lowest of all other recommendations given to me.!!!!

Brian has always been the best. Feel really lucky I found him.

I have gone to Central Auto Repair several times; they are excellent. Their service is very thorough; they know what they are doing and they do a very good job. They are honest and they let you know what is going on. They take care of the repair. The last visit cost me a little over $1000, but you have to keep in mind that they did quite a number of things. So, I'd say that for what they did it was well worth it.
