Full service shop with nine service bays able to handle a wide variety of automotive needs. Shop has been in business with same owner for the last 18 years. Had 2003 Linc Navigator brought into Aamco shop. Left it there and went to work. Call from and quot;Louieand quot; that afternoon and he stated its not the tranny its the engine. Says further diagnostic tests will cost me $380 to find out what the problem is. Went to pick up car because I will not pay $380 for diagnostics. and quot;Louieand quot; was not present at time of pick-up. Shop owner (don't remember his name) tells me I need a new engine and suggests I leave the car there. He talks to me about and quot;Louie'sand quot; problems ad nauseum! Totally inappropriate in the work place. Took it to my mechanic that is not on Angie's list and he fixed my engine for $400. Turned out to be the O2 sensors. Could have paid a lot for unnecessary repair work.
