The Pump Man - Kappus Well Pump & Water System Services

This review posting is very unfortunate as I have never had this experience with Kappas before and they have been to my house multiple times and have always been helpful. Sunday of this week our water stopped working. We had already been experiencing some issues and had changed out filters ourselves and had called kappas that came out to look and didn?t charge us to do so. So Sunday with no water we called and were told someone would be there Monday morning to check. Two workers came and discovered our well pump had died. We were quoted at a cost of 6500-8500 to replace (which after some research have discovered that quote is outrageous). They started to pull out our pump but a few minutes later told us it was stuck and they would need a different machine but because of where our pump was in vicinity of power lines they wanted their boss to come and take a look. Rip off artist. They charge whatever they think that they can get away with. Charged 5 times the cost of a 1 HP pump They charged 5 times for the related wire. How are these people still in business. The other reviews must be friends and relatives Donâ t believe them.

Very great work

Our pump died on a Friday evening and the next day two guys from Kappus came and got under way. By the next day we had our water again.

They came within an hour of our request. Service was completed within 24 hours. Both workers were polite and appeared knowledgeable. We are totally satisfied with timely service and we will be able to evaluate work quality and value for money in the coming weeks.

Kappas returned my Saturday call quickly, hours before the 6 other guys I called. They gave an accurate estimate, stuck with it when they did the work the very next day. They replaced pump, holding tank, and water softener, and left the place clean. Hope I won't need plumbing work any time soon, but if I do, I'll call them back. Thanks for a great job.

I contacted these folks through this site and received a prompt call to verify the appointment. The technician arrived as agreed and fixed the issue within an hour. I would absolutelty use these folks again should the need arise, I highly recommend them.

Showed up on time to determine the problem. Then showed up on time to fix the problem. A new well pump was replaced in a couple of hours and we were back up and running . Very friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend them.
