A friend recommended Luke Searls Plumbing to me. I can see why! First off, I was surprised when someone actually answered the phone. It seems like a lot of plumbers and electricians in my area have you leave a message for them and then they'll call you back...if you're lucky. When I called this place a nice lady answered the phone and set an appointment with me. She asked me if I wanted to buy the toilet myself and have them install it or if I wanted them to purchase the toilet for me. I asked them to purchase the toilet for me, but I was happy that they offered a choice.
We had set an appointment for between 1:00 and 2:00 on a Thursday. I asked if someone could call me when they're on their way and I could meet them there. The plumber called me at around 12:30 to say he was on his way. When I arrived at the house he was waiting for me. Everything going good so far.
I brought him in to the house and showed him what I wanted done. He had the toilet with him that I requested. Great! He got that done in no time. Then it was on to the valve that I needed replaced. He went right to that and had some unexpected trouble. The old fitting that was inside the wall had broke off. The plumber explained to me that in order to fix it he would need to cut a small hole in the drywall. I gave him the go ahead and he neatly cut a small hole as planned. Then, the plumber needed a valve that he didn't carry on his truck. He explained to me that he would run over to the supply house and be right back. After about 15 minutes he returned and finished up the job.
When he was done, he went through all the charges with me. I was pleased to see that he didn't charge for the time spent chasing the parts. I thought the price for the toilet he purchased for me was very fair. The charge for labor was fair too.
All-in-all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this plumber. Responsive, courteous, punctual, fair prices. What more could you ask for?

He did a great job. The work quality was good and he did it in a timely manner. I actually had two other contractors come in and their estimates were a lot higher. When he came in, he actually did additional work. We went through what he was going to do, he saw that there was a couple of thing that needed to be done so he did them and didn't charge me for it. I was just happy with his service. If I ever have future plumbing work to be done, I would definitely use him.

They are very professional, polite and prompt.

Simple story. My husband called him and he came the next day, assessed the situation, went to his truck for the necessary tools and supplies and did the job. He was here about an hour, made no mess, was careful about not crushing plants when he turned the outside water supply off and back on. His price may have been high, but we do not know what plumbing repairs cost, so we paid without arguing.

Long history he's friendly and good.
