 + -1 moreThe whole process went smoothly. Jim was willing to work with me by letting me do parts of the basement finishing project to keep the price down. He gave us a realistic detailed estimate before beginning and finished the project slightly under budget. They started in November and finished in January with short breaks over the holidays. He and his regular subcontractors were all very polite and professional to me and my entire family. They helped out on things that were not even part of the project. Offered advice on ways save to money on the project without sacrificing quality and energy efficiency. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again.
Description of Work: Complete basement finishing. Including egress window installation with window well, interior wall framing, insulation, & drywall finishing, Hot water baseboard heat zone addition, electrical lighting/outlets, furnace ventilation. All done to code with permit. Total space finished was ~400sqft in heated living space plus creation of a mechanical room to separate the water and heating systems from the living space.
