The Rug Garden employs three people. We subcontract our cleaning, repair, and installation services. We accept checks and all major credit cards. We offer a 10% Senior Citizen discount. We provide pick ups and delivery of rugs in the NY metro area including Long Island and Connecticut at no additional charge.

Services we offer

Ulster and Columbia Counties at no charge. We have relationships with over 40 Oriental rug importers with a wide range of styles and sizes. We do superior rug cleaning, We have a selection of the finest wool and natural fiber carpeting. Will go out for an initial consultation in Dutchess, repairs and restorations. Minimum charge for rug cleaning is $40. Pick up and delivery service is included in our pricing for cleaning. We sell the Durahold rug pad and will cut down to size to fit your rug.

Deborah, the rug garden, destroyed a huge hand knit Moroccan rug that my father gave us for our daughters room. Because her son forgot to take a photograph when he came to pick up the rug, we had to go through 2 years of photo archives to find a picture of the rug before it was destroyed so the companies insurance could cover the cost. She came and collected the rug in April to be appraised by someone she uses in the city and since has not returned our many attempts, now in august, at contacting her. As it stands now, we are out the cost of the rug cleaning with was roughly $500 and our rug, which she has apparently stolen, which is estimated to be worth $5,000. these people are criminals, and you are risking your property by using this company as a service. I am now having to file a claim through civil court because of the blatant irresponsibility of the owners of this business.

They brought it back. It came back like new. It was a carpet that had been through many years with dogs. It came back perfect. They came when they said they would. They came and returned it when they said they would. I would give them top honors.
