Ray came over promptly to look over the installation and give me a quote on the labor and figure out what he would need; he'd get the parts from the supply co. at his rate; I'd pay the supply co. directly. He quoted a reasonable rate - he and Anthony Licastrino, his partner would do all the plumbing and related electrical work. The figured it would get done in a day. We picked a day the following week & he had the supply co. deliver the new boiler, pipe, fittings, etc. to me the day before.
Ray & Anthony called to confirm the parts delivery and to reconfirm his appointment to do the work. They came on time and got busy; it took 12 hours to finish to the point I had heat and hot water again. They arranged to come back two days later to put the finishing touches on the job.
Ray clearly knew what he was doing and did a clean, neat job. (Anthony played helper; he's the electrician) Ray had done his homework reading up on my boiler model before he came so there was little "now what are we supposed to do here" discussion on the job. They brought the tools they needed, had all the parts necessary and worked steadily till done. They cleaned up well and took all the trash (including the old boiler) off with them. Extra parts were returned promptly for credit back to me.
