MIDNIGHT OIL UPHOLSTERY

I LOVE LOVE LOVE how my dining room chairs look like NEW!  I never expected the seat cushions to match the originally upholstered chair backs of my 20+ year old dining room chairs so well.  The backs didn't need reupholstering, but the seat cushions were flat and worn. The edges of the wood frame were coming through the material. I brought one of my worn cushions in to show Richard (Midnight Oil owner) and he pulled out books of fabric until we found the best match of  color and type of fabric covering for my needs.  
Richard ordered the fabric which arrived very quickly. We scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks later, and I dropped my 4 seat cushions off. His shop is amazing. He showed me before and after pictures of some of the work he has done. When I dropped off my cushions, he was in the process of restoring a vintage sofa. It's hard to believe how he can turn something so old into such a beautiful piece of furniture. But he does it!!  
Not only does Richard have the friendliest, pleasant, and best personality, but his talent is unsurpassed. Dealing with Midnight Oil was fantastic. He's a true craftsman. I wish I could post a photo of my chairs. They look amazing. I can't say enough about my experience with Midnight Oil from fabric selection, quality, turnaround time, and price!  I am so happy to have found Midnight Oil Upholstery and will recommend Richard to everyone needing furniture restoration.

It all went like clockwork. We had wanted to get it done right away, but we realized it was the busy season for his services. He gave us a date that he could do the work and a date that he'd be finished. He picked it up on time and finished three day earlier than promised.

The Mid Night Oil was not ready for prime time, it was a work in progress. If you have allergies to cat, find another place, there were many. I showed him my cushions and said they look terrible and I needed new cushions and covers. He reviewed the cushions and said that the fabric was not sun bleached and was strong, all that was needed was new foam. The original foam was ?? something weight and it should be ??. Two weeks later I had the cushions back and the set looked new again. He had saved me alot of money by not recovering everything, but I still thought it was expensive. I don't know anything about upholstery price and I'm basically cheap, BUT IT SURE GOOD!
