they were to dig a trench from my house to the garage 30 ft. long and 18in deep and install a PVC pipe and danger tape. sent 2 men to do the job. worked 1 hr. and disappeared for 2 hr. came back and when I told them what they did to my gravel path was not acceptable, (mixed the dirt with the gravel) I was told they would get more gravel. went away for another hr. and returned to pile the gravel in a hump across the path. I called and was told it would be fixed but nothing was done after a week with no call back I canceled the job. when the next electrician looked at the job, he showed me the PVC pipe was only 6 in. deep and would NOT pass inspection. I would NOT hire this Co. again because there was no oversite and they tried to charge me for 4 hr. of work.

I found them to be pleasant, professional and willing to be flexible in their dealing with me. There work is done at a high standard.

The price he quoted me was on point and the work was done well, efficiently and without any issues.

John has been an amazing partner for us! He is extremely polite and professional, keeps a clean work environment, provides a reasonable estimate and keeps us updated as he goes, and clearly knows and loves what he does. He proposed very creative ideas for rewiring and adding light switches and outlets--great ideas I would never have thought of myself. He is very careful to cause as minimal disruption to our old plaster walls as possible. He also helped us think through the timeline for how and when we would rewire each section of the house, based on the other restoration projects we have going on at the same time. I'd recommend him to any friend or family member I know.

John Conte is totally professional - he made an appointment to canvas the problem and set a date soon after for doing the job which took one day and 4 hours.  He is efficient, unfailingly polite and informative about every aspect of the job.  I have no reservations in recommending him for anything electric.

Mr. Conte was very professional from the moment he entered the door. He made every effort to resolve the electrical problem. One of the things that impressed me the most was the care he took when handling our possessions. I have other work that needs to be done and will not hesitate to have him return. I must also add at how prompt he was at returning our phone call as well as arriving. I couldn't have asked for more. I would highly recommend Conte Electric to anyone I know.

John brought his Dad with him.   His Dad has 40 years experience as a professional electrician.    They were punctual,  friendly,  considerate, respectful,  and just incredibly professional.    
The quality of their work was just top notch.   They covered all of the furniture in all three rooms that they were working.   John gave me advice about the bathroom fixtures and what work should be done when it comes time to start that project.   
We also talked about a kitchen project that I would like to do someday when funds are available...  John gave great advice.  
At the end John and his dad cleaned up and left the place cleaner than when they got here.   John even asked to borrow my vacuum cleaner!   
As far as i'm concerned,   this is the only guy I'll call when I have electrical work in the future.

Called on Thursday after reading review comments on Angie's list.  Received call back that night and set up appointment for following afternoon to see what work needed to be done.   Arrived at my home at agreed upon time, he listened as I explained what work had been done in past and what I wanted done now.   Was told I would be called in day or two with estimate, but received call within a few hours with job price quote.   After all agreed on, appointment was set up for Monday morning.  Arrived  when promised and work completed.  Very professional and pleasant.  Protected workspace and cleaned up as work progressed.   Even when faced with challenge of extreme cold outdoor weather, continued to complete installation of light fixture meticulously.  Extremely happy with results, would definitely call again and recommend to others.    Thank you so much.

We were so happy and satisfied with John's impeccable work. We have a 'new' old house and were concerned that the electrical upgrades would be to the same high standards as the renovations. And, with John's care and skill we had no complaints! We will call him whenever we need an electrician.
