Description of Work: I gifted a piano tuning to my business partner and his wife for their Anniversary. Robert Knox was professional, arriving on time, interested in the piano, and did an excellent job with the tuning. The piano is a Yamaha Disclavier with some automation and Robert identified an issue outside of his experience (a problematic soft-pedal) with handling the automation, and rather than fix it he very responsibly was able to point us into the direction of Yamaha service and gave us some guidance in dealing with them. | |Definitely will call Robert for further work. Work was performed in Kingston and thus a little more expensive than his usual tunings, but still very affordable.

+ -1 moreHe did a fine job. Tuned and repaired the piano. Additional repairs were $20. Robert Knox is a very pleasant person to have work for you. The work was done at my daughters house in LaGrange, NY.

+ -1 moreWe had our baby grand piano tuned, after it had been moved from another house. It had not been tuned in many years and the move put it even further out of tune. Robert Knox was extremely responsive and came the very next day after I called him to inquire of his services! He did an excellent job. Appeared very knowledgeable and even gave us some helpful maintenance tips. He was very courteous and his price was very reasonable. We will definitely be using him again.

I am a Certified Installer of Piano Life Saver Humidity Control Systems. I work on all makes of grands and uprights in homes, schools, churches, restaurants, and concert venues.
I do not do piano refinishing, piano moving, or buying and selling of pianos.
