Mold remediation was OK, but -- their guarantee using "Calbrite" is misleading. It only applies if humidity levels are kept below 60% humidity, which is the minimum humidity level for mold to grow. Their installation of a whole house dehumifier as a complete disaster. I'm left with an $1800 dehumidifier that doesnt work. It leaks water on the floor. They also installed blowin-in insulation, which resulted in areas of the attic which are now unusable. I was not informed that ceiling fixtures needed to be isolated from the insulation, and that cat-walks needed to be installed to have access to areas of the attic that needed maintenance, such as a/c system, etc. I do not recommend Expediant.

Called them when home remedies didn't work. They came as scheduled and spent the better part of the day heating the house to 160' to kill the mites, which are extremely hard to kill. It took three treatments to eliminate the mites, expensive, but worth every penny.

We were given the contract and he explained to us the treatment methods and the removal of debris. We hired them because of their price and they were less invasive to the structure of the house. It was clean and we didn't have to cut any of the drywall. The only thing I am not happy about is that they lost the contract, they did not have the signed contract. The guy that came in and did the inspection and gave us the estimate lost the contract. Then when the guys came in to do the work they claimed that the removal of debris was extra, about $900 and that's a lot of money. I specifically called him to make sure that the debris was going to be removed by them and that was included in the price. They came in and did the job. The pricing was good but you have to be very clear about every item on there, and we were but when they lose the contract, that was a major setback. They didn't do any post treatment testing. He said that the testing was expensive and they already knew that we had mold so they just did the treatment.

The agent was rude and unprofessional. They tested for the mold and then Hurrican Sandy happened and they never called back. to explain their report. They did mail the report but it was higly technical and we were unable to decipher it until they finally got back to us and said there was no mold. I could not recommend them.

They were very professional. I was going to use them to do the remediation, and because I did some research on the type of procedure that they are going to use, I thought that there would be a little paragent to my home. I don't want to say anything bad about them, because they didn't really do any other work except the pre-testing which was done very well. So, I just thought to not use them for the remediation, but it's only because I just thought that their way of re-mediating the mold was going to be harmful to my home.

They were good. They punctual with the quote. It was a good working relationship over the course of the project. A couple of small things came up and they were able to handle it with no problem. Their pricing was fair. They were honest to deal with.

I think that the estimate was close to realistic. They were more realistic on price and one of the lower ones. They were also more accurate about what needed to be done. They did not over charge us for the work that needed to be done. The crew came in 3 weeks after the estimate and they were quick and efficient. They moved the stuff in the attic so that they could get to the areas where there was mold. Then they removed the sheet rock in the garage and closet. Then they painted it and sent samples to the lab to get tested and make sure they got it all. We are now waiting for the results of the test.

Expediant performed a conventional mold remediation in the bathroom of a house I rent in Albany. A mold remover was applied to all surfaces in the affected bathroom. The service person returned in about one week to perform a test which would establish whether all of the mold was removed. The lab report was sent to me showing the results were excellent.

The owner came out and accessed the problem. He recommended what should be done in the future to prevent the mold from coming back. We were very pleased with them.

My experience was mixed because the equipment they sent was faulty and when we came home the house was filled with carbon dioxide as there was a leak in one of the generator hoses. The young man shared with me that when he left that morning he knew that the machine had a problem, but it was the only one left so he took it. They had to shut one down and then they told me that the temperature was still at an OK level downstairs in the basement to kill the mold, but it just was disappointing to spend that kind of money and not have top-notch equipment and have the house filled with propane gas.

I was able to get an appointment quickly even though the company is pretty busy with Hurricane Sandy aftermath. Rich arrived on time and I tagged along for both inspections, which covered the exterior and interior including attic and basement. He explained things and it was very useful and informative even though no pests were found. I also had him inspect for mold, which of course he found and offered remediation services, and a quote to present to the sellers. The written quote and pest inspection report for the bank were a little slower to arrive via email, so I rated that down to a B, but they were responsive with getting them out after they were reminded!

He showed up on time for the estimate, and even handed me a written estimate before leaving that appointment. They wiped down and cleaned portions, to treat that. They removed some sheetrock and replaced it. I got the certificate, showing that it had been done to EPA standards. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He had special light to enable him to see the mold better. They always reacted very quickly to my requests.

I was very disappointed with Expedient Environmental Solutions. They were very unprofessional. Expedient Environmental Solutions was sent to me and listed by Angie's List as a possibility because I was looking for feedback on what I needed to do about mold or if I even had it in my home. They were supposed to come a day or two before, but someone was sick and that was fine. He didn't want to explore or investigate my home particularly to hear what I was saying. He just mainly wanted to do the test. When I had talked to the lady she was very nice and very professional and terrific and I had high expectations. I had recently had blood tests that determined that I was allergic to a certain kind of mold and I had told them which kind. They said that it was a special and I would have this free test and the guy would assess the situation, so I thought that was great. They came a long distance, but they were willing and we were surprised. He came and he was furious that I wasn't home. He really wanted to do the test and he told me how it would cost extra if I had different rooms done and he also told me that in order to do the test I had to pay $95 for the outdoor test. I said that I didn't really want to pay any money because as it turned out Mr. Home had come and I had paid $450 for the very same test which was done inside and outside my house because I interested to find out if the kind of mold I was allergic to was in there. Since then I've learned that those tests are unreliable. I am kind of feeling ripped off about $450, but some of them can be even more expensive. Now this guy from Expedient Environmental Solutions was furious that someone else had already done the test and didn't I know any better. First of all I thought the test was free and I didn't know it was the same test and so he really got upset and angry. He didn't want to do anything and there was nothing further to do because he couldn't do the outdoor test which would've cost $95 and technically would have been cheaper and I would have gotten the inside part done free whereas I paid $450 for the Mr. Home one. He said, "What were you thinking? Didn't you do your research ahead of time?" I thought, "What do you mean research? How would I know he was going to charge $95 and I'm new to this. I was just trying to find out for my medical purposes what the situation is in my house and I'm old enough to know that different people have all sorts of different ideas and opinions about what is the problem and what should be done." I wanted to call like 3 or 4 companies just to get a feel because I've done things like that before and you're all over the place with opinions and some of them just don't jive common sense wise and others do. I now know that Expedient Environmental Solutions and Mr. Home was both there to sell us something even though I did know ahead that they were kind of pushing their thing, which I have forgotten what it was. I looked on line and it just didn't seem like it was that great of a thing, so to make a long story short he just got more and more aggravated and angry and insulting. He said, "What did you want me to do? There's nothing here for me to do?" and I said, "Well, I guess not." My husband came on the scene and he couldn't figure out what the ruckus was. I'm a very laid back person and so we had to go over the whole thing again and so on and so forth and because I wouldn't pay for his test there was nothing more to do. I guess he was just here to get the money for the test and/or to sell me something. I'm almost 70 and over the years being a home owner I've had a lot of people come in about this and that and the other and I have never seen a person this unprofessional. That could have been just that one guy because I was so pleased with the lady, the person I called. She was so professional and was perfect. I don't know whether that guy just had a really bad day or it was just him and the company or what.

They indicated that they could treat appropriately and even provided a 25 year guarantee. I was suspect of the contract and even gave it to my attorney to review. He felt it was in order so I hired them. The treatment seemed to help for awhile and the dehumidifier probably helped some too but it has been less than a year and the mold is back. I contacted this company and advised that they were going to have to follow up and reminded them of the 25 year guarantee. They advised that they would have to charge to do it again. What good is the guarantee???? I was originally pleased that they'd tried so hard but I needed the "more" that they promised. My health has been affected by this problem so I'm now searching for a reliable company to help me.

Sampled mold in attic, report showed it was non toxic, then provided estimate for remediation. I decided to go with this company and their workers showed up on time and did an unbelievable job on a widespread mold problem. With exception of a few stains it looks like there was never mold on the underside of the roof at all when before there seemed to be few places there was not mold. The workers where a father son team that where the best homeservice professionals I or my family have ever dealt with since owning at least one home for 7 years and two homes for 4 years with more then 20 services of all types used. I do not think it can get better than this team.
