l Had to call Black Electric 3 times and leave a message with the receptionist/secretary. I finally received a return call only after I expressed my dissatisfaction with the company. When I did get the return call I scheduled to have the electrician come over to discuss the work that i needed done. He arrived as scheduled on 10/10/14. I told him I needed all the wall phone jacks and phone lines to work in my pre-wired house. I also needed installation of a hallway outlet and a light fixture in my kitchen. He stated he would e-mail estimates for the jobs I needed done. I did not receive an e-mail with the estimates as agreed and I called Black Electric on 10/15/14. I spoke with the receptionist/secretary and confirmed my e-mail. I was told to give the electrician a couple of more days and that she would remind him to send the e-mail. I was then informed that the company was currently very busy with corporate accounts. I stated that if Black Electric did not have the time for my work to let me know and that I would find another electrician. The secretary bluntly stated "that is up to you". She showed no interest in having me become a customer. I have yet to receive the email and it is 10/21/14. I feel I gave ample time to be answered. I do not feel my non corporate jobs were important to this company. Black Electric was recommended by my best friend. The company had time for my friend when she needed one outlet installed and she felt they did a good job at a fair price and I was looking forward to using someone that came recommended. That did not turn out so well. Now I am going to use Angie's list.
