They came to fix a Kitchenaid refrigerator that had ice accumulating in the refrigerator section(not the freezer). There was a section that was a solid frosty line of ice across the entire back wall inside it. After taking parts off I was told it needed a defroster fan. Waited for them to get the part in and set up a return visit to replace it and assured all was fine and I paid my bill. Within a week a similar issue happened. Instead of the ice going completely across it this time it only went half way across. I called and left a message(usually no one answers so that's how it's done). When he came back and looked he pointed out that since the ice only went half way across there is a leak in the refrigerant line on the section that is not frosting/icing up. He said I need a new fridge. This is a $4,000 5 year old fridge. I said it seems like the leak is exactly on the coils you worked on to remove ice, plus I paid you for a part and repair and it still has the same issue. He packed up his stuff and said he'd have the boss call me. No one ever called me. So, I paid hundreds of dollars for a repair that only made thing worse. When that happens and they don't even give you a call it's like take the money a run.

Poorly. Left two messages with their answering service indicating urgency of the repair. Our food was in danger of being spoiled. Never received a reply.

Came as scheduled on Thursday, May 14, needed to order parts, said it would be faster if I ordered the parts, suggested a place tonget them said they were the best and what he really liked was if need be they took back parts for up to year, and if you put in their replacement parts and decided to get a new dishwasher within a year of purchase they’d still take them back. Overnighted parts he requested for Friday, he came back Saturday, the parts did not solve the issue. Said he needed to call Bosch on Monday am and vet to the bottom of this. Never heard from him again. After almost a month with no dishwasher it took a Certified Bosch repairman to fix. Turns out we had the wrong parts. Bosch covered parts but still had to pay another fee for the first visit from the second repair company and then labor for the second visit with correct parts. Oh and those wrong parts affordable had me order, the company won’t take them back because affordable “installed” them. After almost 3 weeks of not hearing back from affordable I left a message saying thanks for leaving me hanging for almost 3 weeks. Not even a call back on that. Thankfully I now have a new repair company should I need a repair.

When the serviceman came and checked the dishwasher it worked fine; beacuse the weather had IMPROVED and the frozen discharge pipe of the dishwasher thawed by the time he came after 2 days. So no repair was needed, and we paid the bill for his visit to the house.

Each installation had its own complications, but these gentlemen solved each and every problem. The work looks great and everything works well. We would call them again. They are prompt, neat, and pleasant to have around. They are busy, and they deserve to be. They will make and keep their appointment with you.

John showed up basically as scheduled, was polite, and quickly diagnosed/fixed the problem. Very affordable, I would definitely use this company again.

Excellent. The problem with the fridge was unusual, but the tech quickly isolated to a failed component in the ice maker. He set it manually to provide better cooling until the replacement part arrived. He always responded to our calls and let us know when he would be on hand..

I used this company twice before and was extremely happy with their same day service and professionalism, but things have changed drastically. This time my phone call was not returned for four hours on a regular work day, and then only to be told that they are too busy to service my area (Saugerties, NY) and I should better go somewhere else. I will do that indeed. This is a perfect example of how a company drops its customers and level of service once they become too successful.

Perfectly!! Technician, Will, was very professional, honest and knowledgeable diagnosed both appliances and wrote up the estimates. Mostly definitely will have them back once the insurance claim is settled to repair the appliances.

Technician responded quickly to service call. Was able to diagnose problem and suggested options for dealing w/ manufacturer for warrantied replacement parts. Service call cost was reasonable.

When I contacted the company I had a great contact with the woman who was taking the calls. The owner was quick to respond to my message and we talked about our problem. We set up a day and time and they arrived within the time slot. The technician was helpful, willing to explain the problem and suggested a couple of option that we could take. After we decided on what to do, they came back and fixed the issue and all is well.

John Horton is a consummate professional, and not only knows his repairs cold, but will give you an honest sense of when it's time to move on. In fact, honest is the best way to characterize this man and his associates. Go to Sears: you'll get a bit of a better price for your range, but you'll find someone who has NO CLUE how a range works and probably knows less than you do. Ditto for Home Depot, or Best Buy, or any of the other big box stores. You get what you pay for: and here you'll get good advice, solid advice based on years of repairing real machines. We've been customers for years and I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.
