Description of Work: Very unprofessional. Showed up without necessary tools expecting to use mine.After he received half down I didn't see him for a week. He never did bring the equipment he told me he had. All he wanted to do was shake my hand and tell me about all the good things he was going to do. He spent more time on the phone talking and taking pictures. Before he took the job I explained I had shingles blowing off my roof and that I wanted them replaced and I wanted sufficient roofing tar placed underneath them to prevent this from happening again. He agreed this was best(of course) and said it would be done as I asked. When he finally showed up he brought another man with him and the promptly left for about 1/2 day. When he returned there was another man working on the sheetrock repair to my garage. This man told the sheet rock man he could go and said he would finish the garage after the roof was done.The sheetrock job is absolutely terrible in terms of matching the existing ceiling. He said it would be matched quite close and it isn't anywhere near the original. He left the garage without cleaning his mess. There was gobs of mud on the floor as well as all the residue from sanding. He assured me before he left that if anything on the entire roof needed attention he would return and take care of it because the contract said that he was responsible for general maintenace to the entire roof and vents. Approximately one week later I noticed what I thought was a missing shingle. Upon inspection I found three shingles had blown off. These shingles had three spots of tar on them 1/2 inch wide and 1 1/2 inches long. I pomptly called him on his cell phone(315-244-5246) and told him what had happened. He said that it was odd for them to have come off the roof like that but he would stop by later that day(Friday) to take care of it. When he did not show up bt 5:00 I called again. This time he did not answer. I called his "office"(315-261-4659) and his wife took a message for me and called back saying he would be here Saturday morning. She also said he had poor reception and that is why he didn't answer. I thought that was odd because I called him from 10 miles closer than she did. I asked when he would be here and she said 10:00 at the latest. At 10:05 I started calling and repeated attempts to both numbers failed to produce an answer. Now it looks like I will have to replace the shingles myself and hire another contractor to seal them properly.
