Northern Contracting

We called Northern to help us fix a our retaining wall, which has been poorly constructed by another contractor. Owner Greg DeAngelis offered suggestions for not only repairing, but making the retaining wall attractive; allowing it to match the rest of the house. After the initial meeting, we were emailed a proposal. The office staff is polite and phone calls and emails regarding questions we had about the work were returned promptly by either the office staff or by Mr. DeAngelis himself. Their workers are friendly and professional. Mr. DeAngelis was on site at the start of the job and returned after the day's work to survey the results. The work was completed within the period specified although it probably would have been completed much sooner had the weather been more cooperative. At the same time, Northern also replaced a simple wooden saddle under a side entry door with a stone saddle that would better withstand the elements and allow us to pave the area with asphalt; creating a rot-proof environment against the side of the house.
