GE Appliances Repairs

The light inside my very old (30+ years) GE electric oven had stopped working. I wasn't sure if it was just a bulb that needed replacing or it was the outside switch. When they called to confirm the appointment they almost discouraged me from this service because since the oven is so old, if the problem was the switch the part would no longer be available and they didn't want me to pay $100+ just to change a light bulb. I decided to have them come anyway. Aparently the bulb had become loose from what they said was banging the door shut. Even though it was a crazy price to pay to have the bulb changed, it was worth it because the screws were so tight and the oven is so old I was afraid tI would damage the cover by trying to unscrew the cover myself. I'm thrilled to have the light back. The repairman was very prompt and pleasant and I actually paid less than they quoted me originally. The fee for just walking in the door is $99 so the actual work cost $56. They lead me to believe it might cost $250 in total.

They were good. They were prompt. They got all of the parts for us and took care of everything. They came on time. They were clean and efficient. I was happy with them. We still had a warranty, so we just paid labor.

They had a web service where you explain you're problem and we explained our problem. They seemed to know exactly what part was needed. We made an appointment and two or three days later they came over, and they put the right part in and the gas range works fine now. They knew what the problem was and fixed it right away. It wasn't too long. They were able to fix it right away and solved the problem. I'm not really familiar with the price of the part. We will use their services again in the future.
