I am only leaving this review because I was notified twice to review it. Jamel is a nice guy and I was confident he knew how to do the job. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The metal trim was miss cut and not flush with the Sheetrock causing the shower surround tiles to protrude past the wet wall, the tiles around the cubby were miss cut, and the metal trim was also, leaving the cubbies crooked. He told me they were unlevel before he tiled them, but I checked them prior to installation with my four-foot level, and laser and they were straight. His cut lines on tile were not straight, and he butted cut edges up to tapered edges. The tiles were not level and flush with many gaps uneven. He left my mechanical room an absolute mess. And I also had to repaint walls where he splashed mortar/grout mix. The floor tile is missing grout in spots and again, the gaps are off, and tiles are not level. I trusted him with something so special and he said he gave me a good deal. I would have paid twice as much if it meant getting the work done right. He gave me so many excuses, but I believe he should have passed this job up because it was above his capabilities. If you want good enough, for now, go ahead and hire him, but if you want finished professional work, you are taking your chances. I am literally in tears between the work he and his plumber did. Update: I went to install my glass shower door and there was a difference of over 1 inch width between the top and bottom due to the thickness of the mortar near the bottom tiles he had to pop off and reset. My shower door is so out of square due to his tile job. Iâ ll have to rip everything out and redo it all. Not to mention the debris he let sit on the shower pan stained and scuffed the porcelain and I canâ t get it out. My floor tiles are so I level in some areas I scrape my bare feet on the edges so the floor will need to be redone too.

Jamel did a phenomenal job tiling my shower. Everything came out exactly how I wanted it to be. Knowing the process I went through before with a botched job from another company, he made sure to do precise job and in a timely manner. If you are thinking about hiring him, don't hesitate! You won't be disappointed.

I am so happy with the job that Jamel did for us. The bathroom floor came out beautiful ! He is a true professional that takes pride in his work. Although it was a small job and I was on a time crunch, he worked with me to get it done. That kind of dependability and customer service is not easy to come by these days.
