Roy Deluca

He came out and he was really, really excellent. He called me when he said he would which I was shocked because when I talked to him on Saturday, he said that he'd call me on Sunday and I thought I'm being blown off. But he called just like he said, came over right when he said he would and I had him pick up a lot of heavy items like the air-conditioner and all kinds of stuff. He took anything and everything. I had an old wooden deer that I bought which was big and heavy, all the way in the back of the yard and he took it down and he did anything I asked him to do. He was very nice and accommodating. He was out here for about an hour and a half and he said I could pay him what I what I wanted. He's very, very dependable, down to earth and friendly. He's very capable of doing what I needed him to do and he had a good attitude.

Roy said he could do all the work when he came and gave the estimate, but he sent other guys to do most of the work. When they painted, they slopped the paint on so thick and quickly that it has now peeled off. The gravel that they put down was so fine that it quickly ground down in and just became mud again. The very worst part was when they rebuilt the retaining wall. I asked him to use the original fieldstones to do it. He said he knew what he was doing, but he sent guys who didn't know what they were doing. One guy even brought his wife to help and charged me for it! When I said that the wall wasn't completed satisfactorily, he came and painted it with polyurethane and said it was fixed. Roy is a fast talker who doesn't supervise his workers. I'm a widow and didn't feel comfortable questioning these guys he sent to my house when I felt they were doing poor work.
