From start to finish, I was very impressed with all aspects of their services. What I appreciated the most, was that Rich the owner was intimately involved with our entire project. 100% recommended using them.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Asked for mulch, spring clean-up, seeding, aeration, then weekly grass cutting. Was billed for all my services on a Monday via email, to which I asked was the grass seed planted (it wasn't on Sunday), response was yes, it was, so I sent the check. Checked when I got to the house on Friday, nothing had been seeded, aerated or fertilized ($965 of work). I asked where exactly the work had been done as I couldn't see it anywhere (on Sunday) - was told multiple times over the next few days that they'd look into (I had already paid mind you). Finally sent another crew on Wednesday and had the nerve to say they did the work "again". I then asked on Wednesday if my grass would be cut on Thursday or Friday. Had no response on Thursday so I emailed again to confirm for Friday. No response by Friday afternoon at 5pm so I just cut the grass myself and told them not to bother. 1)either lied to me about the work or their foreman is lying to them about doing work and 2)didn't show up for planned weekly service.

The crews are very respectful and nice. I’ve been with them for 3 years and haven’t had any issues. They are fast and efficient and accommodating to my schedule; ie: if I have a party I can call and they will make sure everything is done early that day or just before. The owner and office manager are easy to talk to. The owner shows up on big jobs to make sure things are done right and gives accurate quotes on all work. They are fairly priced. I would definitely recommend them if you need lawn services.

Work performed on designer block berm wall was outstanding. Ran into an issue where they started installing the wrong type of designer block then what was originally requested. I did not notice until after the installation started. I brought it up to the owner/supervisor and he made the correction with no resistance and no additional cost to me. The project came out great and I am looking to have them perform more landscape design projects for us in the near future. FEI has been our general landscape maintenance contractor for 15 straight years. The edge, in my opinion, FEI has over any other landscaper that I could bring in is their personable and organized office manager. Her responsiveness to any needs, or concerns, which I may have regarding my lawn care service is handled professionally and efficiently.

From the time I spoke to Debbie in the office who was beyond professional and accommodating to when the guys came to do the work, the experience was really great. And now, our lawn looks better than it has looked in a long time. Paul the lead tech came to inspect during the job and followed up afterwards.

Bad, very very bad. The crew arrived with no English speaking laborers and no supervisor. I asked what they were doing on the East side of the house as it seemed they were doing more than installing a stockade fence. The response was a few head nods in the affirmative and a brief utterance that I did not understand. The fences went up, I never noticed them in the trees or cleaning out under the deck area. Later in the afternoon I watched (I hope you have a strong stomach) one of the day laborers walk to the corner of my back yard, pull down his pants, squat and defecate on my lawn. I tried calling the office but got no answer, I left a heated message. After an hour or so I went outside to find that they were gone. None of the trees were cut, nor was the lawn waste removed from under my deck. On the East side of the house they cut a few trees they were not supposed to touch. A few days later I got a bill for $5,441.46! I immediately called the office and left messages for the own (Rich) to call me. A few days after that he called asking for his money, never mentioning the msgs I left. When I asked him to explain the nearly $2,000 difference he said that $1,330.49 was for the gates I asked for and the remaining $510.97 was for the tree work. I recall at least one gate in the quote, but I I let it slide. I told him I would pay him the extra $1,330.49 for the gates but seeing as how he did not do the correct tree work or remove the debris from under the deck I told him I would NOT pay him the $510.97. He agreed to this and while we were on the phone I processed a check for $4,930.49 and had it sent. I heard nothing more until Sept. of 2010 when I got a bill for $510.97. I ignored it as it was obviously an error. I got another bill the first week of October and then a few days after that I got a notice that they were suing me for $810.97 (not $510.97). I called the office and reminded (I assume Mrs. Favorito) about the tree work not being done, the debris not being removed and their employee who took a crap in my yard. She could not provide an answer as to why I was getting the bills or the court paperwork. I am awaiting a phone call from her now, otherwise I file a counter-suit tomorrow. I had to lay out $1,200 to another landscaper to get the tree/debris work finished for our Solar Panel project. I'm furious. SUING ME? For work they did not do? I'm not petty, have never jilted anyone out of money they rightfully deserved. I have no debt and pay my bills asap. This is ridiculous!

They are un-reliable. They come when they want to come. They wouldn't come for three weeks at a time. Then they would cut my grass so short that it would kill the grass. Then they would bill me for it.

The workers will use the weed whacker a foot from where they trim; I'm losing grass. They're unreliable. They were supposed to trim my shruberies but I ended up doing it myself. They cracked my siding with a weed whacker.

FELT PRICES WERE UNFAIR. THEY USED OLD EQUIPMENT THAT WAS LEAKING AND THAT BURNT MY LAWN. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES AND FELT THEY WERE NOT PROFESSIONAL.
