Horrible customer service period. The worst service that I have ever received especially at this high price point. I was oversold curtains which did not make sense for my house. I was oversold on a curtain that could not be installed as sold since it was too large. Instead of getting my money back due to a significant price differential, I got the run-around. I was promised gift cards due to the purchase price (deal with Costco) and when one of the cards was not working, I had to email Budget Blinds once monthly for over a year to get absolutely no resolution. They never followed up and only made empty promises. This team put holes in my walls, and where they patched them, I now need to paint the entire room as a result. They never showed up on time. I had to take numerous days off because what should have been a one day installation became a three day since they didn’t have the necessary parts and had defective merchandise. I spent thousands in window treatments and have received better customer service and guarantees from brands at a fraction of the cost. Bloomingdales will treat me better when I purchase a $75 shirt. I do NOT recommend. Their owner Sal is all talk and no action and cannot be trusted, you will be oversold and extremely disappointed as I am.

Incredibly well. Anita and Keith were amazing. We could only meet on Wednesdays and they were flexible and prompt. When the renovations went on longer than expected, they repeatedly delayed the installation until the house was ready. Their office assistant, Maggie, was wonderful, too. We took advantage of a special that gave us free up-down/down-up shades. Anita and Keith recommended we do so. Every time we are at the house, I am grateful for the option to open the shades from the top or from the bottom. The light-blocking shades truly block the light. The quality is great. I would use them any time and recommend them without reservations!

Everything went so smoothly from my initial consultation with Sal, the owner, to the installation of my beautiful window treatments. I am sorry if you feel the shades are not working adequately but they are top of the line Hunter Douglas Duette shades. If you would like I would be more than happy to come out and check to see if they are operating properly. I would also like to let you know that the installer that was at your home has been spoken to as to his attitude and seems to have made an adjustment. As for just showing up that is not a normal thing that we do but he was in your area and thought he would take a shot to see if you were home to double check everything. If you weren't there or able to have him work at that time he would have gone on. I have addressed this as well, with my office and field personnel. Once again, Sal was great as well as the installer. I have purchased shutters from Sal this past summer. I will definitely use Budget Blinds again. It does take at least two months for the shutters to come in.

The sales process was absolutely easy and affordable. Sal came to our home and measured everything and showed us samples. He gave us all pointers and helped us make a decision on one or two things we weren't sure about. They told us three weeks for them to get made and the install was scheduled at three weeks as told. However installation day was a but chaotic. We were originally scheduled for noon but were called the day before and moved to 4-5pm because they misjudged the morning appointments. Then the day of 6 came and no one had arrived. I called the office and was told he would be another hour. Around 7 the installer showed up and was very polite and professional. He was done quickly and cleanly and I was extremely happy with the work performed. Although they were late on install day due to overbooking the installers day I would highly recommend and use this company again.

Budget Blinds did a great job right on down from the salesman Sal to the customer representative to the installer Dave. They were very prompt and courteous and the installer was very professional at his job. We had no problems with any part of their services and I would recommend them highly.

I like them. They had a fair price. I had a little bit of a problem when they called me for an installation. Blinds came and measured it. They had to re order and re schedule the installation. They scheduled it two days instead of one day. Then they told me that they will call me a week later. They said it it was going to be another three weeks or four weeks before they could get it installed. I was not happy about that. I told them it was not acceptable. They came through yesterday, May 13th instead of a May 30th date which they originally gave. They corrected the issues. They are fair to work with.

I tried contacting three different companies to arrange for measurements and an estimate. Budget responded immediately to my phone message, sent someone the next day to measure and provided a reasonable estimate before the other companies had even managed to schedule a visit, so we accepted the proposal. Installation came in a few days early, as we had requested speedy service. Installer was thoughtful and competent.

Sal spent a great deal of time helping me pick plantation shutters for my entire home. He went into every room and helped me to decide what wood stains would work best. He did all of the measurements and then sent, David, one of his installers to measure yet again. Unfortunately, there was a error on the part of the manufacturer. Sal could not have handled it better. He took care of everything, stood by his promise of excellence, and kept after them until they did the right thing. David, the installer, did an excellent job with the installation including being very neat! I absolutely love my shutters and would recommend Budget Blinds of Port Jefferson/Smithtown and Huntington without hesitation.

Sal helped me with choosing appropriate window treatments for 5 large rooms. It was big job and took time--he has excellent taste but also lets the customer choose the product and direction she wants. The wait time was 3-4 weeks and then the installation took two different days (shutter arrived after the blinds). I did need to ask them to remove the boxes, which is apparently not standard practice or wasn't then, but I figured I had spent a pretty large amount of money with them and it was a service they should provide. All products arrived in perfect condition and look great. I used them again this year for a small blind job and it went just as smoothly. In addition, Sal is just a lovely person to talk with and do business with, so the whole process is both efficient and pleasant.

They charged me very little compared to other people. Once I said I am ready, they came back and re-measured to make sure that everything was right. I didn't like the color and I wasn't sure, so they sat with me. They were very nice and patient. They had good suggestions. I am going to use them again.
